One Piece season 2

One Piece was one of the most popular Netflix shows of 2023, but we have bad news for those who were hoping to see season 2 in 2024. Yes, Netflix quickly renewed One Piece for season 2 in the late summer of 2023, but it’s going to be a while until the new season is released on Netflix. Unfortunately, the second season is not coming to Netflix in 2024, according to Deadline.

That means we’ll be waiting at least until 2025 to see One Piece season 2. We were expecting a big gap between seasons, but we’re just hopeful that production gets rolling soon so we can watch the new season of the Netflix original series in early 2025, not late 2025. Sadly, it’s looking like it will probably be the latter, though.

Digital Spy reported that Taz Skylar, who plays Sanji in the series, confirmed season 2 has not started filming, but it’s gearing up for production to start soon in South Africa.

Stay tuned for more news about One Piece season 2! Obviously, it’s a big bummer we’ll be waiting until 2025, but there’s a bunch of big shows coming to Netflix in 2024, including Avatar: The Last Airbender, 3 Body Problem, Outer Banks season 4, Bridgerton season 3, The Night Agent season 2, and more!
