7 burning questions we still have for My Life with the Walter Boys season 2

We're still reeling from the fact that My Life with the Walter Boys will be returning with a second season in the future. The new teen series managed to score a speedy season 2 renewal only 12 days after the first season's premiere.

We absolutely enjoyed watching the first season from beginning to end, and we can't wait to see where the writers take Jackie and the rest of the characters' stories in My Life with the Walter Boys season 2.

But after that shocking season 1 finale, we still have many questions. Hopefully, the show will address and answer them in the upcoming season. If you're curious about those burning questions, continue reading because we shared them below.

Spoilers ahead from My Life with the Walter Boys season 1!

Will Richard and Will go into business together?

Will spends most of the first season trying to figure out what's the next step in his life. His hyperfixation on building a career drives a wedge between him and his fiancée Hayley. But in the season 1 finale, it looks like things might start looking up for him when he talks to Richard about his new business venture. He's hoping to get financial backing from Richard. Sadly, we never see Richard actually agree to helping him out. This is something that will probably be explored in season 2.

Will Danny and Erin get together?

We hope so! Unfortunately, Danny doesn't get much screen time in the first season, but something that stuck out for him was his bond with Erin. They bond over theatre and you can definitely see that something more than friendship is brewing between them. I mean, there last scene together was full of tension with Erin telling Danny that he can text her over the summer break. I totally ship them and hope that they become an item in My Life with the Walter Boys season 2!

Will Katherine and George have to sell the ranch?

Throughout the first season, we see Katherine and George struggle to make ends meet and grapple with whether or not to sell their ranch. They even receive a strong offer from a developer. And the last time we see them talk about the ranch is when they come to a decision to sell. However, with Will's new business venture, they might not have to sell their ranch. Richard even tells Katherine that if things work out between him and Will, they'd be seeing him around more often.

So, if Richard decides to back Will on his new business idea and it brings in a lot of profit, the ranch won't have to be sold. This will probably be explored in the second season as well.

Who is Morgan?

In the season 1 finale, Hayley receives a text message from a mysterious person named Morgan. However, we don't get to see what the text message says. Hayley even looks nervous as she reads the text and even lies to Will about who it's from. The identity of this Morgan person will likely be revealed in My Life with the Walter Boys season 2. But our guess for now is that this person is connected to the competitive lecture that Hayley wanted to join at her graduate school. If you recall, she never told Will about the lecture.

Will Cole tell Alex about the kiss he had with Jackie?

In the second to last scene of the My Life with the Walter Boys season 1 finale, Alex confronts Cole about Jackie's whereabouts and the apology note she left. However, we never get to see Cole's response to Alex. He just looks at him nervously. Will he fess up and tell Alex the real reason why Jackie left is because they shared a kiss the night before or will he continue to keep it a secret? This is something else that we expect season 2 to address.

What's going on with Tara and Richard?

Tara and Richard meet for the first time in person at Will and Hayley's wedding and seem to get along great. They even share an intimate moment after Tara stumbles drunkenly into Richard's yurt after the wedding. However, it's unclear if they'll be able to become more than friends since Tara's ex-boyfriend Nikhil decided to stay in Silver Falls to be with Tara. Maybe Tara will find herself in a complicated love triangle like Jackie in season 2.

What's going on with Alex and Kiley?

I knew from the very beginning that Kiley secretly had feelings for Alex. Honestly, we've seen this happen many times before in other TV shows where one friend likes the other more than just a friend. This is pretty much confirmed in the season 1 finale when Kiley helps a drunk Alex to his bedroom and they almost kiss. In the scene, it looks like Kiley is waiting for Alex to make the first move, but Alex basically friendzones her. How will this affect their friendship going forward? This something that needs to be addressed in season 2.
