Full list of Netflix shows confirmed for release in 2025

Since 2024 has nearly come to an end, all eyes are on 2025 and what Netflix could have in store for our watch lists in the new year. Because of the dual Hollywood labor strikes that set the industry back many months, fans are still waiting for some of their favorite shows to return with new seasons, but all the waiting will soon pay off in the next 12 months.

Before the ball could even drop and welcome us to 2025, Netflix already got started with revealing a handful of release dates to get fans excited. The Night Agent season 2 will help get the year started on an action-packed note in January, as will the second season of teen rom-com series XO, Kitty and Harlan Coben's latest mystery limited series Missing You.

The start of the new year also brings some long anticipated titles like Mark L. Smith's Western miniseries American Primeval, Robert De Niro's debut television role in limited series Zero Day, and the culmination of fan-favorite series Cobra Kai with its final five episodes. But there's plenty more to binge-watching throughout the year that hasn't been dated.

Handfuls upon handfuls of the most popular and beloved Netflix original series will make their comebacks in 2025, including Stranger Things, Sweet Magnolias, You, Wednesday, The Recruit, Nobody Wants This, and many more. Some shows have new seasons on the horizon for 2025, and there's also lots yet to be revealed by Netflix.

Netflix shows confirmed for release in 2025

In addition to shows that have firm release dates from Netflix, the streamer has also either confirmed or teased new seasons of over a dozen popular or new shows in 2025. Some shows that have been renewed, such as Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2, Outer Banks season 5, and Bridgerton season 4, have not been confirmed for release in 2025 just yet and are not on the below list.

Ginny & Georgia season 3 is on its way, along with the second season of fellow hit teen drama My Life with the Walter Boys. While plenty of returning shows are coming, new shows like Apple Cider Vinegar and Ransom Canyon are among some of the best newbies headed for our watch lists, with plenty more sure to be announced throughout the year.
