With Stranger Things Day 2021 rapidly approaching, fans are wondering if Netflix will announce the official Stranger Things season 4 release date.

We thought Netflix could announce the release date for the new season at TUDUM in September, but Netflix shared the third teaser trailer and introduced fans to Victor Creel and Creel House. We’ll have to wait a bit longer for the new season of one of the best Netflix shows ever.

But, we all know that veryone wants to know when Stranger Things season 4 is coming out. We’ve been learning more and more about the release date as the cast and crew get closer to the end of the year.

And now, Netflix has at least confirmed the year that the new season will debut. Already, we were suspecting Stranger Things season 4 to debut sometime in 2022, and a new teaser trailer released on Aug. 6 has confirmed that.

There’s no doubt Stranger Things is the best Netflix show coming in 2022.

Right now, it looks like Stranger Things season 4 is going to arrive in March or April 2022. Production officially wrapped in September 2021, two years after Netflix officially renewed the show for a fourth season.

It looks like, based on some leaked set photos, season 4 will take place in April 1986, which has given some fans the impression that the new season will be released in April 2022.

Then, in the teaser for the third teaser trailer, fans noticed a newspaper clipping from March 1959, which is 27 years before Stranger Things season 4 is set. So, some fans are assuming this means that the new season will be released in March 2022.

Stranger Things season 4 almost has to be released in March or April. That’s about as much time, minimum, as we could expect for post-production and promotion. And, we know Netflix probably wants to get the season out there as soon as possible given how long fans have already waited.
