This year might be pretty good after all.

2024 was another good year for Netflix, but not the best year ever. For instance, the streamer had just one movie get a lot of nominations for Golden Globes. We know the streaming giant will do even better in the future.

Thankfully, the Netflix Original series have never been disappointing. Maybe viewers do not love every show (La Palma has gotten some hate), but there are enough that get renewed that we cannot wait to watch a new season. Sometimes, Netflix makes us wait too long, though.

Such is the case with the first show on the list below. Still, even if we say we have lost interest, once the show is released in 2025, everyone knows we will tune back in. In fact, we should watch all of the following six shows.

Six Netflix series we cannot wait to see in 2025

Stranger Things season 5

Finally, after what seems like decades, Stranger Things will return for its final season. We have been promised the kids we saw in season one are not now all living in a retirement home together (though that would be cool). Instead, the creators have to hope they have not made us wait too long to be interested and then deliver us a mess. We need vindication!

You season 5

Joe Goldberg is back with a bunch of new characters, except for girlfriend Kate. The reason is because, as you know, Joe killed nearly everyone previously. He returns to the United States only to find he isn't in the clear as much as he hoped. That means there could be a tightrope to having a fully resolved ending, but let's hope the show pulls it off.

The Four Seasons

If you saw the 1981 film and liked it then you will probably love the series. The plot has couples that vacation together and then learn the shocking news that one couple has split up. Sounds quite sad, but the series features a cast sure to make you laugh. Steve Carrell and Tina Fey star, and will be joined by Will Forte and Colman Domingo.

Wednesday season 2

A darker and more complex Wednesday? Yes, please. That is at least what fans have been promised by showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar. Plus, Steve Buscemi will join the cast. This is going to be fun.

Squid Game season 3

The second season was a bit of a mess compared to the first one. The previous season was tightly written without much fluff. The second season had a lot of empty storylines. That could all be fixed by season 3, which is really just part two of season 2 so the creators might have known all along how they would tie things up.

American Primeval (January 9)

If haven't gotten enough Taylor Kitsch from when you binge-watched Friday Night Lights and you think Kitsch would be perfect in a bunch of shows about the Wild West, you are in luck. This limited series has Kitsch playing a loner trying to find his way. Sounds perfect, right? Plus, it was created by Peter Berg, Mark L. Smith, and Eric Newman, so what could go wrong?
