If you haven't delved into the waters of You yet, you might want to check out the teaser trailer for the final season. For You fans, of which Taylor Swift is one, you know that this means Season 5. But before you check it out, here are some things you need to know.
The key actor is played by the understated yet brilliant Penn Badgley. He plays Joe Golberg who initially runs a bookstore, and cute meets an aspiring writer. He falls in love. I mean, he falls hard. So much so that he becomes the worst kind of stalker.
See, Joe doesn't just send emails but he talks to his love, Guinevere Beck, on social media. He also decides to kill anyone who gets in the way of his intentions of being with her. The thing to keep in mind is that this show is a comedy. And, well...a thriller. Plus, a story about a mass murderer.

The worst thing Joe can do is fall in love. He does so several times over the first four seasons. There is a lot of bloodletting and a lot of comedy. It's the darkest kind of humor, and completely worth watching.
Besides Badgley as Joe, Season 5 will also feature the excellent Anna Camp. She plays two characters, Reagan and Maddie, Kate Lockwood's (if you know, you know) identical twin sisters. Maddie is the laid-back twin, while Reagan is a ruthless businesswoman who is the Chief Financial Officer of the Lockwood Corp.
Besides Badgley and Camp, some familiar faces are set to return for the final season. Charlotte Ritchie, who plays Kate Lockwood, returns, for instance. New faces include actors Madeline Brewer and Griffin Matthews.
What will happen in the final season? Who knows? We can assume lots of internal monologue from Joe, keeping things light and dangerous at the same time. Maybe more blood? But a satisfying ending? We will have to wait until April 24, 2025, to find out. That is when the final season drops.
