You season 5 cast adds Natasha Behnam, Pete Ploszek, and more
By Bryce Olin
There are four more new cast members officially joining You season 5. According to a report from Deadline, b, Pete Ploszek, Natasha Behnam, and Tom Francis have joined the You season 5 cast.
We got new character descriptions for who b, Ploszek, Benham, and Francis will be playing in the new season, too!
According to the report, b plays Phoenix in You season 5. Phoenix's "young life was upended by tragedy, setting them on a course that led to New York and a search for renewed purpose." Is Phoenix going to be the one who takes Joe down? We'll have to wait and see.
To do so, Phoenix will have to go with Kate's family, who is rounded by Harrison, played by Ploszek. Deadline describes Harrison as "Joe’s golden retriever brother-in-law. A former pro-football player and trophy husband to Reagan Lockwood, Harrison must balance the needs of his family with his own heart’s desires." Okay, I like this angle! Harrison is going to be sticking up for the Lockwood family, but he also has his own interests and dreams. Reagan is one of Kate's sisters, who is a twin. Anna Camp will play Reagan and Maddie. As we learned when Camp was cast in the role, Reagan is the CFO of Kate's company.
Then, we have the artists! We're in New York City for season 5, and you know the art scene will be a major focus of the season. Joe will be dealing with two new artists, Dominique, played by Behnam, and Clayton, played by Francis.
Dominique is described as "a passionate, clever, fiercely loyal young woman. Despite her wealthy upbringing, she’s a headstrong caretaker among her scrappy artist friends."
Clayton, on the other hand, is about to get caught in Joe's crosshairs, I fear. He's described as "a pretentious, self-absorbed, wannabe author whose vindictive, controlling nature draws Joe’s attention."
The four stars will join Penn Badgley and Charlotte Ritchie in the final season of the Netflix series. Anna Camp, Griffin Matthews, and Madeline Brewer have already been confirmed for You season 5.
I love how this season's cast is coming together. There are a lot of big characters, and I can't wait to see how it all comes together in You's final chapter.
Production on You season 5 started at the end of March 2024. Things sound like they're heating up now. Production listings reveal season 5 will likely be filming until August 2024. Unfortunately, You season 5 has already been confirmed for a 2025 release, according to Netflix.
If production wraps in August, we could definitely see You season 5 premiere sometime in February or March 2025. That's when the fourth season dropped in 2023.
We'll share more news about You season 5 when we find out! Luckily, there are a lot of good Netflix shows to watch while you wait for the final season.
