After the release of Manifest season 4 part 1, Manifesters around the world have been ready to see how the story ends in Manifest season 4 part 2. Even though it might be bittersweet to say goodbye to the series, we just have to know how it ends.

The first half of the final season, the first to stream as a Netflix original series, debuted in November 2022 and delivered an action-packed 10 episodes. So many questions were answered, but so many more were presented to be answered in part 2.

But when does Manifest season 4 part 2 release on Netflix? Here’s everything fans need to know about the forthcoming final episodes, including the release date, casting updates, spoilers from the first half, and so much more!

When is Manifest season 4 part 2 coming out?

On April 7 at 8:28 a.m. PT, Netflix finally announced that the final episodes of Manifest season 4 will be released on Friday, June 2, 2023.

Back in January 2023, creator Jeff Rake shared that Manifest season 4 part 2 would be released on Netflix in spring 2023. While he didn’t elaborate by providing the month the final batch of episodes would be released, Manifesters have had a theory since the part 1 release date was announced.

Since the first half of season 1 was released on Nov. 4, which is the day Flight 828 returned to New York City, fans have theorized that part 2 could either be released on April 7, which is the day Flight 828 took off, or on June 2, which is the Death Date. Both dates are Fridays that, based on the calendar, fall in spring.

Manifesters had long held the theory that Manifest season 4 part 2 would drop in April 2023 to honor the takeoff date of Flight 828. However, when Netflix released the full list of new release movies and shows for the month, Manifest’s final episodes were not among the titles. Even though season 4 part 2 wasn’t released in April, at least we don’t have much longer to wait now!

WARNING: Spoilers from Manifest season 4 part 1 from this point forward!

Will Matt Long (Zeke) be in Manifest season 4 part 2?

In the part 1 finale, Zeke used his powers of empathy and pain absorption to sacrifice himself to keep alive. Cal’s presence and own powers were needed to help save the passengers and, as they now know, the world. Being so, Cal’s cancer was cured and Zeke appeared to have succumbed to the fate that would have befallen Cal.

While it’s unclear whether Matt Long will no longer appear in part 2 as Zeke, it’s worth noting that Long was on set for at least some of part 2’s production. Even though Zeke and therefore Long might not be in every episode, we’re sure his appearances aren’t over, and neither is Michaela and Zeke’s story. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! (As we learned with Grace in part 1.)

Manifest series finale will feature a character monologue

The tears will be flowing during the Manifest series finale anyway, so it makes sense that the writers threw in a series-ending monologue just to make sure we stocked our tissues. According to a tease from TV Line, on the final day of filming, an original cast member was given a previously unscripted monologue that plays over the final scene of the series.

Obviously, it’s going to be an emotional scene no matter who’s delivering the monologue, but for an extra extra emotional scene, our prediction would be Zeke. If he’s in fact dead through the entire final part of season 4, then a few last words of wisdom from beyond the grave to mirror Michaela’s monologue from the pilot would be a fitting and heart-wrenching way to end.

Manifesters have popularly pegged Michaela as the original cast member tasked with bidding us farewell as she led us into the series with narration in the pilot. Michaela’s insights from this winding journey would be the perfect way to bookend the series. We’ll have to wait and see who ends up delivering the monologue, but we’re not picky in the slightest!

Melissa Roxburgh directs two episodes of Manifest season 4 part 2

In season 4 part 1, Josh Dallas made his directorial debut with episode 7, and in part 2, his on-screen sister Melissa Roxburgh will do the same! The Michaela Stone actress directed two episodes in the final batch. Keep your eyes peeled for the episodes she helmed, which will be episodes 17 and 18 (or episode 8 and 9 out of part 2’s 10).

What will Manifest season 4 part 2 be about?

The second part of the final season will pick up in the aftermath of the game-changing part 1 finale, which found Angelina securing the power of the Omega Sapphire and crystalizing her hand. Following the struggle between Angelina and the Stones, volcanic fissures have spread throughout the city in a clear result of Angelina’s abuse of power.

Manifest will continue to tell the tail end of Flight 828’s story and how the Stone family will help save the Lifeboat. As we learned in part 1, the fate of the entire world rides on them solving the mystery of the plane, as the Death Date isn’t only for the passengers of Flight 828. Now recharged, Cal will be a key piece in saving the world.

Check out the official synopsis via Netflix:

"In the aftermath of Angelina unleashing a devastating volcanic fissure, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry. A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers. As Michaela grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke, she must team up with her old flame Jared to find new methods to investigate Callings. Meanwhile, Ben and Saanvi attempt to collaborate with the Registry authorities, which only leads to dire results for the passengers. Miraculously, a mythological event reactivates Cal’s sapphire-laden dragon scar, offering a glimmer of hope for the 828ers to survive the rapidly approaching Death Date. But Angelina’s nefarious sapphire powers continue to wreak havoc, leading to a struggle between good and evil down to their very last day in this most terrifying, suspenseful and joyous chapter of the Manifest story."

Michaela will be emotionally “shut down” in Manifest season 4 part 2

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jeff Rake and Melissa Roxburgh spoke about the final episodes of Manifest season 4 and shed some light on where the character Michaela will be emotionally. Although we shouldn’t expect Michaela to be in dark of a place as her brother Ben, she will be struggling, understandably. The actress explained:

"“She’s a lot more ‘eh’ toward things. She’s not apathetic. She’s drained. She’s fried. She hasn’t given up on on anything, but her attention is on the plane stuff, the mystery, to get her mind off of the pain that she keeps pushing away.”"

Manifest season 4 part 2 episode titles and runtimes

What’s On Netflix did some sleuthing and uncovered the episode titles and runtimes for the remaining 10 episodes of Manifest season 4. It’s important to note that Netflix has not confirmed this information, but this site tends to be correct.

  • Episode 11: “Final Descent,” 46 minutes long
  • Episode 12: “Bug Out,” 41 minutes long
  • Episode 13: “Ghost Plane,” 46 minutes long
  • Episode 14: “Fata Morgana,” 45 minutes long
  • Episode 15: “Throttle,” 43 minutes long
  • Episode 16: “Furball,” 44 minutes long
  • Episode 17: “Threshold,” 40 minutes long
  • Episode 18: “Lift/Drag,” 45 minutes long
  • Episode 19: “Formation,” 46 minutes long
  • Episode 20: “Final Boarding,” 50 minutes long

What happened in Manifest season 4 part 1?

As mentioned above, Angelina insisted on being the worst and acted defiantly toward her fellow passengers at every single turn. From kidnapping Eden to attempting to kill Ben, she actively worked toward her own agenda. She’s stolen the Omega Sapphire and part of it has been absorbed into her hand. It’s going to be another fight to get that back.

Season 4 introduced the Registry, an agency designed to track and enforce Flight 828 passengers. Drea works from the Registry in order to help the Stones from the inside, and Jared joined the Registry at the end of part 1, hopefully giving the Lifeboat another ally in the belly of the beast. Of course, the emotional ending of the season found Zeke sacrificing himself to keep Cal alive, since he needs to be alive and well in order to help the world beat the Death Date.

Will there be a Manifest season 5?

Unfortunately, there will not be a Manifest season 5 on Netflix or any other streaming service. Don’t start campaigning to save the show because that already happened. When Netflix saved Manifest, they ordered a fourth and final season of 20 episodes, which have been separated into two parts.

While Netflix previously saved Lucifer and had announced the fifth season to be the final season… then ended up ordering a sixth season, which was the final season, don’t expect that to happen here. Production has already wrapped on Manifest, and the cast and crew finally had the opportunity to tell the full story of Flight 828.
