Let the speculation begin! Basically right now, we know nothing on what to expect in Manifest season 4. All we have are the behind-the scenes photos and tidbits the wonderful cast and crew have ben sharing on social media. And they’ve certainly delivered lots of goodies!

There’s one photo recently shared that has the wheels turning in our heads. We’re talking about a picture from the Instagram account @theplatontwins. The two adorable 4-year-olds, Jianna and Jeena, are posing with our fave Ben Stone, a.k.a. Josh Dallas. The caption reads “love our on-set daddy.”

This is a pretty big indication that the twins will play an older version of Ben and Grace’s daughter, Eden. It also raises a lot of questions regarding the timeline. I don’t even know. After the season 3 cliffhanger with Cal, my head kind of hurts thinking about how he we went from being a child to full out teenager. That’s a question for season 4 to answer.

And hopefully we get the fourth season sometime this year! The final season will be 20 episodes, and there’s a very good chance the first half of Manifest season 4 will drop on Netflix in November 2022 thanks to a tweet from showrunner Jeff Rake.

Will there be a time jump in Manifest season 4?

The first instinct is to say, yes. There is going to be a time jump. But we have to step back and think about how the whole series works. At this time, the show can’t do time jumps because of the death date.

We left off season 3 with brainwashed psycho Angelina thinking baby Eden is her guardian angel. She stabs Grace and kidnaps the baby. Obviously, the twins are a few years older than that, which is the kind of time the passengers don’t have.

And though Cal disappeared as a child and returned as a teen, that’s what his actual age is supposed to be if he never got on Flight 828. But Eden was born in the “present.” Maybe the passengers somehow crack the code and stop their death date? Then we get to see the Stones a few years after the events of the season 3 finale.

Another theory I don’t want to think about is maybe the passengers don’t beat the death date? Actors can be on the same set the same day, but not be in the same scenes together. Maybe there is a time jump, but the scenes with Ben are actually flashbacks and he’s not around in the future. I’m sorry, I had to say it! After everything they’ve been through, I really hope the show doesn’t take this route, and I don’t think they will. We just have to wait and see.

The good news is once Manifest season 4 is back, we won’t have to wait very long to get the answers we’re looking for. The Manifest crew and cast have wrapped filming on the first half of season 4, including the Platon twins. That means they’re going to appear in the first batch of episodes!

Do you think there’s going to be a time jump? How do you think it’s going to work? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
