Manifesters, the day we have all been wait for has arrived: Netflix has officially saved Manifest. The streamer announced the renewal for Manifest season 4 on Aug. 28, a day that’s particularly special to the series due to its Flight 828 connection.

Following the series’ cancellation by NBC in June 2021, Manifest courted Netflix as a potential new home, an option that seemed more and more plausible as the series dominated streaming ratings week after week.

Manifest season 4 had long been the hope of both loyal fans as well as the cast and crew, all of whom joined in on the online #SaveManifest campaign that never once died down. Well, look where we are now with the series as an official Netflix original.

Without question, Netflix saving Manifest is cause for celebration for Manifesters around the world, not just because it proves the power of fandom, but because the series will have the chance to tell its full story after leaving off on multiple cliffhangers in Manifest season 3.

Netflix saves Manifest season 4

According to a press release from the streamer itself, Manifest is returning for its fourth and final season! There will be 20 episodes total. While it’s unfortunate this will be the last season, we’re just incredibly happy Netflix has decided to save the popular series!

Manifest series creator Jeff Rake provided a quote about the exciting news:

"“What started years ago as a flight of fancy deep in my imagination has evolved into the jet engine journey of a lifetime. Never in my wildest dreams could I have envisioned the worldwide outpouring of love and support for this story, its characters, and the team who work so hard to bring it all to life. That we will be able to reward the fans with the ending they deserve moves me to no end. On behalf of the cast, the crew, the writers, directors, and producers, thank you to Netflix, to Warner Bros., and of course to the fans. You did this.”"

Netflix hasn’t announced the Manifest season 4 release date since the new season was only just announced, but we should anticipate its debut as a Netflix original series sometime in 2022. Season 3 premiered on NBC in April 2021, making spring or summer 2022 an obvious prediction for season 4’s release.

However, we’ll soon learn more information about the new season on Netflix as the cast and crew start getting back into action in the world of Flight 828 and share details with fans. For now, Manifesters can celebrate the series being saved. All good things!
