If you can believe it, we’re already gearing toward the third month of Netflix new releases for 2023. The streamer has already packed quite the punch with Netflix shows like Ginny & Georgia, You, and Outer Banks making splashy returns.

While you still might be making your way through Outer Banks season 3 or checking out some of the other buzzy new titles that have hit the top 10 in the past few weeks, March 2023 will welcome the spring season with plenty of shows worth watching.

But of course, not all of the Netflix shows being released in March are worth watching right away. Should you watch or skip Shadow and Bone season 2? What about Sex/Life season 2 or Rob Lowe’s new comedy series Unstable? We’re sorting your March watch list!

Best Netflix shows to watch and skip March 2023

Here are the best Netflix shows to watch in March  2023, and a couple shows you don’t have to rush onto your binge list. Let’s begin with the biggest show of the month, Shadow and Bone season 2.

Shadow and Bone season 2

Watch! After almost two years since its premiere in April 2021, Shadow and Bone returns with its highly anticipated second season. Alina, Mal, and The Crows are back, and The Darkling is more dangerous than he’s ever been. The new season of the series will cover multiple Grishaverse books and continue Alina’s journey of realizing her full potential as the Sun Summoner. Don’t miss a minute of the action-packed season when it begins streaming on March 16.

Unstable

Skip! Listen, it’s not that we think Unstable, which stars Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe as an estranged father-son duo working together at a bio-tech company, won’t be funny. It’s just that Netflix has left a string of canceled comedies in its wake: Pretty Smart, Space Force, Blockbuster, Uncoupled… The list goes on. The series premieres on March 30, but you might not want to get too attached knowing Netflix’s sitcom track record.

Sex/Life season 2

Watch! Back in the summer of 2021, Netflix had everyone’s tongues wagging and jaws on the floor over the steamy romantic drama series Sex/Life. The second season premieres on March 2 and looks to serve up plenty of more sexy moments between Billie and the men in her (sex) life. Surely, there will be a viral NSFW moment or two that you will want to see for yourself. If it’s your kind of show, definitely watch Sex/Life season 2 this March.

Outlast

Skip! There are so many reality shows on Netflix these days that it can be hard to keep track of them all. The streamer will unveil another new one in March with Outlast, a survival competition series centering on a group of 16 competitors battling it out in the Alaskan wilderness. The one to outlast them all will win $1 million. These kinds of shows aren’t for everybody, so feel free to pass on this one when it premieres on March 10 and inevitably hits the top 10.

The Night Agent

Watch! Hot on the heels of last year’s hit premiere of The Recruit, Netflix unveils another mystery thriller featuring a hunky lead actor as a government agent. The Night Agent stars Gabriel Basso as an FBI agent who mans a phone in the White House basement. When it finally rings one night, he’s thrust into a complex conspiracy. It’s sure to be another twisty, enthralling series everyone will watch with bated breath. Check out the first season on March 23.

Next in Fashion season 2

Skip! These days, Netflix has a reality series for everything. Whether it’s cooking, dancing, baking, dating, real estate, organization, travel, or anything in between, you can watch someone compete for some kind of prize. Next in Fashion returns with its second season on March 3 with co-hosts Tan France and Gigi Hadid. If you’re into fashion, definition give it a watch, but if not, don’t add this one to your watch list.

You season 4 part 2

Watch! Did you think we would forget Joe Goldberg? You better not forget about You season 4 part 2! Based on the massive viewership numbers for part 1, it’s unlikely anyone will forget to tune in for the final five episodes of You’s fourth season. See how the season comes to an end with the last batch of episodes, which are a must-watch on March 9.
