After the slower start to the year in January, and the double whammy high-profile releases of You and Outer Banks in February, it’s time for spring to deliver all of the new Netflix movies and shows we have been waiting for. And it’s going to be a great month for our watch lists!

March truly kicks off 2023 with a bang, as a handful of long-awaited new seasons and sequels make their triumphant returns, and a handful of brand-new movies and shows look to take up the conversation this spring. As always, there’s a little something for everyone.

Some of the biggest new releases on Netflix in March 2023 are Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s team-up in Murder Mystery 2 and the magical comeback of fantasy hit Shadow and Bone. Those two titles alone should be enough to get you excited for spring on Netflix.

Idris Elba returns to the role of Detective John Luther for the movie Luther: The Fallen Sun, which continues the story of the hit television series Luther. In the new movie, Luther breaks out of prison to track down a serial killer in London no matter what it takes. Don’t miss the new movie when it premieres on March 10 on Netflix.

The Magician’s Elephant

Release Date: March 17

If you’re looking for a new Netflix original movie that’s perfect for the entire family, look no further than The Magician’s Elephant. The enchanting new animated film centers on a little boy looking for his lost sister, and he must call on a magician and his elephant for help. Add the heartwarming title to your watch list beginning March 17.

Murder Mystery 2

Release Date: March 31

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are back! The dynamic duo reprise their roles in Murder Mystery 2 as Nick and Audrey Spitz, who are new full-time detectives hoping to launch their agency into success. Ironically, the married couple receives a new international case when their friend goes missing from his own wedding. Watch the sequel to the comedy adventure at the end of March.
