Next in Fashion season 2 release date, trailer, synopsis, new co-host, and more

Like so many fashion trends that just won’t die, Next in Fashion is coming back from the grave for a new season at Netflix. The reality series co-hosted by Queer Eye‘s Tan France and designer Alexa Chung previously premiered in 2020 before Netflix swiftly canceled it after just one season. But less than a year later, the streamer opted to resurrect the show, this time with a new co-host.

Ideal for fans of Project Runway and Making the Cut, Next in Fashion challenges 12 up-and-coming designers to create fun, stylish designs as they compete for a $200,000 prize and their chance to share their creations with the world. In season 1, designers competed to debut a collection on the luxury retailer Net-a-Porter. Netflix hasn’t said if Net-a-Porter is also involved in season 2.

In addition to the hosts, each episode of Next in Fashion features a few guest judges. We don’t yet know who will return to judge the various challenges in season 2, but season 1 featured Tommy Hilfiger, Eva Chen, Phillip Lim, Adriana Lima, and more.

Fashion designer and TV personality Tan France is joined by new co-host, A-list global superstar, supermodel and style icon Gigi Hadid. A group of up-and-coming, incredibly talented designers will compete for the chance to walk away with a prize of $200,000 and the chance to share their designs with the world."

Next in Fashion season 2 recruits a new co-host

Season 1 saw Tan France and Alexa Chung co-hosting the series, but season 2 has tapped style icon and supermodel Gigi Hadid to take over for Chung.
