Stranger Things season 4 is not coming to Netflix in January 2022

Stranger Things is arguably Netflix’s best original show.

If it feels like a lifetime since we last checked in on the gang in Hawkins and the Upside Down, you wouldn’t be wrong. That’s because it basically has been! Season 3 premiered all the way back in 2019 and now, the sci-fi series is set to return in 2022 with season 4.

Were you hoping to cure your January blues by finding out if Hopper is alive? or if Eleven and Mike will ever be reunited? Well if that was the case, then we’re sorry to inform you, but Stranger Things season 4 is not coming to Netflix in January 2022.

We still have a little while left to wait before we can finally get all our burning questions answered. Season 3 definitely left us hungry for more and having waited so long for the fourth installment, we have some pretty big expectations. But if we’re not getting the series in January 2022, when will we see Stranger Things season 4 on Netflix?

Stranger Things season 4 release date

An official release date for Stranger Things season 4 has yet to be announced by Netflix, however, it’s been confirmed it’s coming in summer 2022.

While at this time we can’t offer an official date, we can offer a prediction for its release instead. Given that seasons 1 and 3 premiered in July, we believe Stranger Things season 4 could premiere in July 2022. Last month, an alleged leak revealed the new season would be coming out in July, though this hasn’t been confirmed or denied by the streamer. Prior to that, a rumor claimed it’d be out in May 2022.

Until Netflix announces the official release date, we can assume Stranger Things season 4 will debut sometime between May 2022 and September 2022. Check back in with us for more updates!
