Stranger Things season 4 release date reportedly leaked

Stranger Things season 4 is the biggest Netflix show coming in 2022, but fans still don’t know the release date for the new season of the Netflix original series.

According to a report from Showbiz CheatSheet, the Stranger Things season 4 release month might have accidentally been leaked by a Georgia tour company.

An Instagram post for Georgia Tours Co. claimed Stranger Things season 4 is coming to Netflix in “July 2022.”

After seeing what we thought was a very accurate rumor about a May 2022 release date, it seems all signs are pointing to a July 2022 release date for Stranger Things season 4.

In December, Deuxmoi shared a rumor that the Stranger Things season 4 release date would be on July 1, 2022, which is the Friday before the Fourth of July weekend 2022.

As you may recall, Stranger Things season 3 premiered on Netflix for Fourth of July weekend 2019 and it was the biggest Netflix release at that time. We’ve seen some bigger new releases since then, but Netflix might be trying to recapture some of that Fourth of July magic for the new season.

It makes a lot of sense to release Stranger Things season 4 in July 2022. So far, we’ve seen two of the first three seasons of the series on Netflix in July. There’s less competition in the TV world at that time, and there’s just something about binge-watching shows in the summer.

Maybe Stranger Things is just a July show now? We’ll have to wait and see what happens after season 4. We know it’s not the last season of the series, but there’s been a lot of chatter about spinoffs. It’s unclear what’s going to happen next. We still think Stranger Things season 5 will happen, though.

The Deuxmoi rumor also mentioned the season 4 release date would be announced around Christmas. So, it sounds like we could find out the release date rather soon.

Stranger Things season 4 is easily one of the best Netflix shows coming in 2022.
