David Harbour shares stunning behind-the-scenes photo from Stranger Things season 3

While we don’t have many updates on Stranger Things season 4, we do want to highlight a behind-the-scenes look at Stranger Things season 3 from star David Harbour.

Harbour, who stars as Jim Hopper in the Netflix original series, shared a behind-the-scenes photo from Stranger Things season 3 on Instagram.

The photo is from the penultimate episode of Stranger Things season 3, “Chapter Seven: The Bite.”

The third season premiered on Netflix way back in July 2019. Ever since, we’re been waiting to find out when Stranger Things season 4 is coming to Netflix. While the wait is considerably longer than expected, Stranger Things season 4 is in the works and coming to Netflix soon.

Stranger Things behind-the-scenes photo of Hopper

As you can see in the image above Harbour is with his stunt double at the Hawkins Fun Fair on the Fourth of July, which was hosted by Mayor Larry Kline, who was secretly working with the Russians.

We see Harbour with his stunt double outside of the tiger “experience” from the Fun Fair. I couldn’t find out who it is, for sure. It looks like Niko Dalman, but I could be wrong. If you know who this man is, please let me know. He’s a legend!

This was the scene just after Alexei is killed. Hopper and Joyce and Murray have to escape the fair after the Russian assassins find them. Hopper battles several assassins on the ride, along with Grigori, the big Russian, which then sets up the final battle down in the Russian base.

We don’t know if there’s some significance to Harbour sharing the photo right now or if he was just feeling a little nostalgic. The new season of Stranger Things is currently filming in and around Atlanta right now. We just saw Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp reunite with a video posted on TikTok.

We’re hopeful that the Stranger Things season 4 release date will be sometime in 2021. We just have to cross our fingers and hope they can finish production in time to get the season read. Maybe, just maybe, we’ll see the season around Christmas 2021. That’s looking like the best-case scenario right now.
