Full list of Netflix movies confirmed for release in 2025

There's no doubt that 2024 was an excellent year for Netflix movies. No matter what your favorite kind of movie is, whether it's romantic comedies or action movies or award seasons dramas, the streaming service had something for everyone. As usual, Netflix looks to keep that tradition alive in 2025 with some of its best movies yet coming down the pipeline.

Prior to the ball dropping on the new year, Netflix had already went ahead and announced release dates for some of its most exciting new movies that will be kicking off 2025 in style. Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx team up in the action-comedy Back in Action in January, while Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt fire up spring with the Russo Brother's sci-fi blockbuster The Electric State in March.

The Witcher fans have been waiting patiently for season 4, but in February, the new animated movie The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will be released to help hold us over. If you're looking for even more animation, Wallace and Gromit are back with their new movie, Vengeance Most Fowl, which arrives right at the start of the year. These are just two of the many animated Netflix movies arriving in 2025.

While there aren't as many Netflix movies with announced 2025 release dates as there are shows, there's still dozens upon dozens of movies to look forward to throughout the year that have yet to be officially announced. But we already have a solid idea of some of the titles set to make an appearance on our watch lists in 2025 featuring some huge stars.

Netflix movies confirmed for release in 2025

Beyond the above Netflix movies that have announced release dates, there are plenty more movies to get excited about. There's a new Fear Street sequel that's in the works and will likely arrive around spooky season, and of course, Adam Sandler has been hard at work on the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2, which has lots of secret celebrity cameos.

Tom Hardy will star in Havoc, and Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi star in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, both of which have been teased for releases in 2025. The adaptation of Emily Henry's best-seller People We Meet on Vacation filmed in 2024 for a hopeful release by summer 2025 (that's just a prediction), while Knives Out 3 brings the stars in full force for the year's big event movie.
