February could be a big month for Ginny and Georgia fans

Who's ready for Ginny and Georgia season 4? We definitely are! These other teen shows on Netflix just aren't cutting it. We want the drama, the laughter, and the kind of messy, unpredictable family dynamics that only Ginny and Georgia can deliver. Sorry, not sorry.

The third season was released on Netflix back in June 2025, and we've been waiting ever since. The cast and crew are currently hard at work shooting the highly anticipated fourth season in Canada. They've been out there filming since early October 2025. But when will we finally get some good news? Well, if the rumors are true, February could be the month we’ve all been waiting for.

Ginny and Georgia season 4 is rumored to wrap production in February 2026

We've known about this rumor for a while now, but now that we're officially in February, the excitement has hit a whole new level. The rumor originates from What's on Netflix. Back in July 2025, the news outlet reported that Ginny and Georgia season 4 would be starting production on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, with an expected wrap date set for Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.

As we all know, the cameras didn't actually start rolling on the fourth season until Oct. 7, 2025. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the rumored February wrap date is completely off the table. What's on Netflix was only off by a little over a week on the start date, so it’s entirely possible that the production team could still finish filming by late February. If not, the cameras will probably stop rolling in early March.

But again, keep in mind that the February wrap date is purely a rumor, and the possibility of a March wrap is just speculation. However, we're preparing ourselves just in case. Netflix may or may not make a big announcement when Ginny and Georgia season 4 officially finishes production. The streaming giant has done so in the past, but who knows what it'll decide to do this time around. We'll come back and share the announcement if Netflix decides to make it.

So, when will Ginny and Georgia season 4 be released on Netflix? This is when things get tricky. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos previously stated during Netflix’s Q3 earnings call last year that Ginny and Georgia would return with a new season in 2026. This is good news, right? Well, the streaming giant revealed its 2026 lineup for its original series earlier this year, and the hit teen show was not included.

Naturally, this left fans scratching their heads and wondering exactly when season 4 will drop. At the time, Netflix stated in a press release about its 2026 lineup that the list wasn't comprehensive and that additional title announcements would be made throughout the year. In other words, just because Ginny and Georgia season 4 wasn't included in the initial lineup doesn’t mean it won’t premiere in 2026.

We don't know for a fact that Ginny and Georgia was one of the shows Netflix intentionally left off the list. Still, we wouldn't be surprised if it was since the show was already confirmed by Sarandos to be coming back this year. We're keeping our fingers crossed that things go as planned and we get to see our favorite mother-daughter duo back on our screens sometime in 2026!
