Netflix boss reveals when Ginny and Georgia returns for season 4

Netflix's best teen show just received the best news ever! You know there's only one show we've got to be talking about, and it's none other than Ginny and Georgia. After an amazing third season, everyone's been patiently waiting for the fourth installment.

Obviously, Ginny and Georgia season 4 isn't going to come out this year. Netflix seldom drops two seasons of the same show within a single year, and it’s never happened with this series. However, the fourth season is expected to be released sometime next year. We've even previously predicted sometime in mid-to-late 2026. Now, we've just got that confirmation!

We're not joking around, Netflix Lifers! In fact, we would never tease you like this. That would just be plain cruel! During Netflix’s Q3 earnings call on Oct. 21, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos revealed that 11 popular Netflix shows will return with new seasons in 2026. One of the shows mentioned in the lineup was Ginny and Georgia. Since the hit teen show is in its fourth season, this means Ginny and Georgia season 4 is officially set to drop on Netflix in 2026!

The other Netflix shows Sarandos noted during the call as returning with new seasons next year were Bridgerton, Beef, Emily in Paris, One Piece, Outer Banks, Virgin River, The Gentlemen, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Running Point and Lupin.

This release year announcement comes just a couple of weeks after the streaming giant announced that production on Ginny and Georgia season 4 had begun. The cast and crew start shooting the fourth season in Toronto, Canada, on Oct. 7. The cameras are rumored to stop rolling sometime early next year. That's why we predicted that the fourth season might come sometime in mid-to-late 2026. But again, that's just a release date prediction. The good news is that we now know for sure that Ginny and Georgia season 4 is coming next year.

Plot details for the fourth season are being kept under wraps at the moment, but we already have an idea of what it will be about based on the season 3 finale. We need to find out who the father of Georgia's baby is. It's either Paul or Joe. Naturally, Joe would be the better choice. But the writers might make Paul the father for more drama. We're also most likely going to see Georgia's stepfather and mother in the fourth installment since they were shown driving by her house last season.

Will MANG patch things up? They need to, and it needs to start with Ginny, Abby, and Norah apologizing to Max because she did nothing wrong! We also need to see what's next for Ginny and Marcus. The last time we saw Marcus, he was headed off to rehab for his alcohol addiction. Will he and Ginny get back together? We hope so! Ginny and Georgia season 4 has a lot of questions to answer and storylines to explore, and we can't wait to see it hit our screens!
