Who loves good news? We do, and boy do we have something exciting to share. We're here to deliver a major update to all the Ginny and Georgia fans out there, who've been patiently waiting for new details on the much-anticipated fourth season.
Things are moving right along on Ginny and Georgia season 4 with the announcement that the cameras have officially started rolling! This is not a joke, nor is it a rumor. The cast and crew have all really arrived in Toronto, Canada, to shoot the fourth season.
Netflix recently announced this big production update on Oct. 7, 2025, by sharing a short 10-second video featuring the show's two main stars, Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry. In the video, Howey and Gentry excitedly reveal that they're back on set for their first day of shooting Ginny and Georgia season 4.

However, this filming update won't come as a surprise to those who have been keeping up with the hit teen series. For the longest, it had been rumored that production would begin in late September 2025. The exact rumored start date was Sept. 29. Since they just started filming on Oct. 7, the timeline is only slightly behind the initial speculation.
The previous rumored wrap date was Feb. 25, 2026. We're probably still looking at a similar timeline for the season to be completed with production. After that, the new episodes will spend a good amount of time in post-production being edited before they're ready for viewing.
Although we don't have an official release date at the moment, we have our best release date prediction to share. Based on what we know right now, we predict Ginny and Georgia season 4 will hit screens sometime in mid-to-late 2026. No earlier than the summer, though. We'll have to get back to you with the official release date once Netflix announces it.
What could Ginny and Georgia season 4 be about?
Well, for starters, we need to find out who Georgia's baby daddy is. That's the huge cliffhanger that the season 3 finale left off on. There are two plausible candidates: Paul or Joe. Although Georgia and Paul were at odds for a good portion of the third season, we did see them sleep together once. Then, shortly after, Georgia went and slept with Joe.
But anyone could've seen that coming. Joe's been in love with Georgia since they were teens, and there's been some serious sexual tension between them over the seasons. Georgia just couldn't let herself fully give in to her feelings for Joe at the time because she was always in a relationship or situationship with someone else. After things with Paul went completely south, she finally allowed herself to be close to Joe on an intimate level and slept with him. So, like Paul, he could be the father of Georgia's baby.
Also, what's up with Georgia's mother and stepfather driving by her house in the third season? Georgia doesn't have a good relationship with either one of them, and it's obvious the writers purposefully included that scene to set up a storyline for season 4. And we can't forget that phone call she received from her biological father, who's serving time in prison. During the call, he told Georgia that her mom wasn't truthful about the real reason why he was sent to prison. What's up with that? It's another potential storyline to be explored in the fourth season.
When it comes to Ginny, fans are probably wondering how she'll cope with Marcus being in rehab. Will they eventually get back together once he's out? We all know that they're endgame. But in the meantime, it's best that Ginny focuses on herself and her own growth. Then, when the timing is right, she and Marcus can reconnect.
Oh wait! The fourth season also needs to delve more into Austin and his thoughts about turning on his dad. Although he knows Gil isn't a good guy, he didn't like lying and framing him for a murder he didn't commit. We saw how much it affected him when he was distancing himself from his mom and sister.
There's so much to be explored in Ginny and Georgia season 4, and we can't wait to see what's next for our favorite complicated mother-daughter duo!
