Just in time for summer to begin, Netflix dropped the highly anticipated second season of the hit comedy series The Four Seasons. Once again, we join one of television's most hilariously dysfunction friend groups for another full year of gatherings, vacations, reflections, and comically earned life lessons.
The downside of The Four Seasons season 2 is that with just eight episodes, it's far too easy to binge-watch the full season in one sitting. It's that good! But after watching the friends grapple with last season's shocking death and make huge decisions that could lead into season 3, there are plenty more titles to add to your Netflix watch list to continue the laughs and vacations.
From two fellow globe-trotting Netflix original comedies and a pair of the streamer's best movies about travel and friendship, we're sharing four Netflix shows and movies to watch when your binge-watch of The Four Seasons season 2 ends!

Wine Country (2019)
- Directed By: Amy Poehler
- Starring: Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey, Cherry Jones, Maya Erskine, Jason Schwartzman, Tina Fey
While The Four Seasons, the '80s movie of the same name that the show is based on, is available to stream on Netflix and should be on your watch list, the streamer also boasts an equally underrated movie you have to watch or rewatch. Amy Poehler's feature directorial debut Wine Country premiered on Netflix back in 2019 and is definitely a precursor to The Four Seasons.
In the movie, a group of long-time friends reunite for a 50th birthday celebration by taking a trip together in Napa Valley. However, their fundamental differences and the changes that have taken place in their lives soon come to a head and threaten to ruin their friendships. The group's vacation turns into a much-needed return to each other to learn and grow together.
Wine Country stars a real murderer's row of comedy greats that mostly hail from Saturday Night Live and have the chemistry necessary to make lived-in friendship comedy work like magic. They all have turns stealing the show, including Tina Fey in a a very small guest role. From one friends' trip to another, this movie should be on your annual summer movie watch list!

Emily in Paris
- Created By: Darren Star
- Starring: Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Camille Razat, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount
Obviously, Emily in Paris might not be the most natural recommendation for fans of The Four Seasons, but there are more similarities between the two Netflix shows than you might think. If you love one, there's a great chance you will find something to love about the other.
Emily in Paris centers on an American professional who moves to Paris for a glamorous job in marketing. She's fish out of water as the culture shock separates her from her new Parisian colleagues, but she makes fast friends with a fellow American and soon becomes entangled in love triangles. Also, Emily doesn't just stay put in Paris. She travels throughout Europe!
Both shows tackle themes surrounding romantic relationships, friendships, marriage, and identity. While The Four Seasons features characters of a single age group (apart from Ginny), Emily in Paris is multi-generational and gives every viewer a mirror to hold up to their own lives. It's also the perfect time to either rewatch or discover the show since the sixth and final season is on the way!

People We Meet on Vacation (2026)
- Directed By: Brett Haley
- Starring: Emily Bader and Tom Blyth
There are so many additional Netflix shows and movies you could watch if you love The Four Seasons. There's Survival of the Thickest, which also travels to Italy in its second season. There's Friends from College, which tackles long-time friendship into adulthood (but isn't nearly as good).
But there's also the charming Netflix romantic comedy movie People We Meet on Vacation, which dropped on the streamer earlier this year and officially kicked off the Emily Henry cinematic universe. Based on the book of the same name by the popular romance author, the movie follows college friends Poppy and Alex as they continue to fight their feelings for many, many years.
Each summer, Poppy and Alex take a vacation together somewhere in the world, but it's always just been as friends. However, everything changes for them all at once. People We Meet on Vacation brings the book to life with heart and humor and leaves you wanting even more!
