Will there be an On My Block season 5?

Everyone is either watching or has already watched On My Block season 4 and are now wondering if there will be an On My Block season 5. But you don’t have to wonder any longer because we’re going to tell you if you’ll see the core four again for a fifth season.

On My Block was released on Netflix back in 2018, and it’s been one of Netflix’s top teen series since then. So many people enjoyed watching the friendship between Monse, Cesar, Ruby, and Jamal and the many adventures they went on over the course of four seasons.

What we really enjoyed watching was seeing them get to the bottom of the Lil Ricky mystery. It’s a lighthearted television series (for the most part) that we’ll easily remind you of you and your friends.

The teen comedy-drama doesn’t shy away from sensitive topics and is also relatable. And we can’t forget the relationship drama! Seeing Monse and Cesar’s on-again, off-again relationship was stressful but still entertaining. Then, we had a new couple rising with Ruby and Jasmine that we just loved!

Everything about this teen series is great, and it comes as no surprise that fans are wondering about an On My Block season 5. So, get ready because we’re about to discuss the possibility of a fifth season of On My Block right now.

Is there going to be an On My Block season 5?

Unfortunately, On My Block season 4 was the final season of the teen series. This means that there will not be a fifth season of the hit Netflix original. However, the fourth season still ended in a way where a fifth season could be possible, with the core four being gifted a map to the RollerWorld money from Abuelita.

Also, Monse and Cesar’s and Ruby and Jasmine’s relationship status were up in the air by the end of the fourth season. And with the core four plus Jasmine graduating from high school and going on to college or whatever it is that they want to pursue, there’s much more story that could be told. However, the fourth season has already been confirmed by Netflix to be the final season. So, don’t expect a fifth season to be coming to Netflix.

Don’t worry! We have good news! Netflix has ordered a spinoff series called Freeridge, so we’ll be seeing more of the On My Block world. We may even see some of the On My Block cast reprise their roles from the teen series in the spinoff. Stay tuned for more information on Freeridge!
