The final season of On My Block has dropped on Netflix, and many of the fans’ questions have been answered. One burning question that has been bothering us (as well as the core four) for the past three seasons is who Lil Ricky is. In On My Block season 4, Lil Ricky’s identity is revealed.

Lil Ricky is first mentioned when Jamal begins his journey to find the RollerWorld money in season 1, but he is presumed dead. However, he becomes the main storyline in season 3, when it’s revealed that Lil Ricky is actually alive by Cuchillos. The core four are then tasked with bringing Lil Ricky to Cuchillos (against their will) but never actually do.

They can’t seem to find where and who Lil Ricky is by the end of season 3, so that leaves On My Block season 4 to provide these answers. And season 4 shows where he is and so much more!

Spoilers for On My Block season 4 ahead.

Who is Lil Ricky?

His real name is Ricardo Galindo, and he’s the founder of the Santos Gang. He was one of the three members of the Santos (Benito, Frankie and Lil Ricky) who pulled off the 1981 RollerWorld Heist. After the heist, they hid the money, but Benito and Frankie were arrested and later died in jail. Lil Ricky wasn’t arrested but was later presumed dead.

We find out in season 1 that he’s Chivo’s cousin. In season 3, we find out he’s not dead but in hiding. And in season 4, we find out exactly who he is and where he is.

Where is Ricky Galindo in On My Block season 4?

This is the question that has been on everyone’s minds since the start of the series. In the past three seasons, the core four have been on a seemingly wild goose chase to find the Santos founder with no such luck. Now in On My Block season 4, his identity has been revealed.

Lil Ricky is the owner of The Farm. The Farm is a rehabilitation facility located in Bakersfield. If you recall, Ray (Oscar and Cesar’s dad) left Freeridge to go to Bakersfield because a mysterious man offered him a job in season 3. Ray works for Lil Ricky at The Farm.

We’re first introduced to the Santos founder in episode 6 of season 4 when he comes into Ray’s office to ask Ray for his signature on his department’s time cards. His identity isn’t revealed at the time, but we had an inkling that he may be Lil Ricky.

It’s not until the end of episode 6 when that same man helps Cesar get his car back running. At the end of their conversation, he introduces himself as the owner of The Farm and says his name is Ricky Galindo.

As the two are shaking hands, Cesar looks dumbfounded (just like many of us) by what was just revealed. It definitely was an aha moment for many of us watching. Later in the season, we get to see Jamal, Monse, Ruby, Cesar and Chivo sit down with Lil Ricky and have a conversation at Chivo’s house. We’ve got to tell you, that scene was hilarious!

On My Block season 4 ended with a good series conclusion. The core four were back on good terms and about to embark on one last adventure before they all go their separate ways for college or whatever they decided to do after high school.

We’re going to miss this teen series, but we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the On My Block spinoff Freeridge! Be sure to watch the final season of On My Block streaming now on Netflix.
