Netflix is absolutely crushing it right now, and honestly, we can barely keep up! The streaming giant has an avalanche of upcoming shows in the works as well, and if you’re even remotely into binge-watching, you need to pay attention. There is so much on the horizon that your watchlist might officially need some serious expanding.

We're talking exciting new shows from every genre. Netflix isn’t just giving us a few options. It's set to deliver a full-on buffet of binge-worthy entertainment. While there is plenty to look forward to, we thought we'd share the six upcoming Netflix shows we’re most excited to watch. Whether it was the plot, the cast, or just the sheer buzz surrounding the show, each series on this list has something that makes it impossible to ignore!

Run Away

Harlan Coben fans will be pleased to know that a new television series adaptation of one of his most beloved books is set to be released on Netflix early next year. We haven't seen a new adaptation since Caught, so anticipation is running high. Titled Run Away, this twisty new thriller series is based on Coben’s 2019 novel of the same name.

The plot revolves around Simon, a father whose seemingly perfect life is turned upside down when his eldest daughter, Paige, disappears without a trace. As he searches desperately for her, he eventually discovers her in a vulnerable state at a park. But then he loses her again, plunging him into a frantic and dangerous search that takes him deep into a dark underworld he never knew existed.

There are eight episodes in this limited series. Unfortunately, this is the only upcoming new Netflix show with an official release date at the moment.

The Body

Now, let's talk about an upcoming drama series that will be perfect for teens. It's called The Body, and it centers around a group of mischievous Catholic school girls in a dance troupe whose seemingly ordinary lives take a shocking turn after a dance-team initiation goes horribly wrong. They begin experiencing prophetic visions that spark chaos and confusion, quickly escalating into a town-wide frenzy. The series is set to unfold over eight episodes.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is another upcoming new Netflix show that will be released in the future. Executive produced by the Duffer Brothers, it's described as a horror series that focuses on a couple preparing for their wedding. But as the big day draws near, everything that could go wrong begins to spiral out of control.

A Different World sequel series

We've known about a A Different World sequel since August 2024, but it wasn't officially ordered to series until November 2025. It will not continue to follow the lives of the original characters, but instead will focus on a brand-new generation of students at Hillman College.

The story centers on Deborah Wayne, the youngest daughter of Dwayne Wayne and Whitney Gilbert, as she navigates her freshman year, trying to step out of her parents’ shadow while building her own legacy. Along the way, she’ll experience all the highs and lows of college life with her peers. In addition, there are 10 episodes in the first season of this single-camera comedy series.

Man on Fire

Based on A.J. Quinnell’s book series, Man on Fire follows John Creasy, a former elite mercenary haunted by his past, who struggles with PTSD and personal demons. Despite trying to move on, he gets pulled back into danger, which forces him to confront threats and fight like he never did before. The first installment consists of eight episodes.

I Will Find You

To wrap up the list, we decided to end it off with another upcoming thriller series based on one of Coben's books. I Will Find You is an eight-episode show based on Coben's 2023 novel of the same title. The plot centers around David Burroughs, a man wrongfully serving a life sentence for the murder of his son. When he receives a shocking tip that his son might actually be alive, David embarks on a tense, high-stakes mission to uncover the truth.
