Netflix movies to watch this weekend

The biggest new Netflix movie release of this weekend comes in the form of Glen Powell's romantic dark comedy Hit Man. Richard Linklater directed the movie co-written by himself and Powell, in which the Anyone But You star plays a college professor turned fake hitman helping the police department catch criminals. Along the way, his new moonlighting gig turns complicated when he falls for a woman looking to hire him to kill her husband. Yikes!

Beyond Hit Man, Netflix also drops the hit 2018 romantic comedy film Crazy Rich Asians, which is based on the book of the same name and stars Constance Wu and Henry Golding. Currently, the No. 1 movie on the streamer is the French shark movie Under Paris, which is the perfect watch for summer. Also in the top 10 ranking going into the weekend is Godzilla Minus One, 300: Rise of an Empire, The Lego Movie, Home, Divergent, A Million Ways to Die in the West, and more!
