After this weekend, there's only one full week left in July, and that brings us one step closer to summer coming to an end. But we're still in the thick of summertime, as the latest week of exciting Netflix new releases definitely proves. Last weekend might have been a bit on the lighter side, but for the weekend of July 19, Netflix has dropped plenty of titles perfect for a marathon.

While last week saw the final series premiere of Vikings: Valhalla, this week saw another Netflix original series off into the sunset and another beginning its final run. Sweet Home season 3 made its debut and brought the series to a close, while Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 kicked off the three-part final season celebration of the fan-favorite and Emmy nominated comedy-drama series.

Apart from Cobra Kai being the week's biggest and most popular new release on Netflix, the streamer also releases another new summer romantic comedy, a documentary series about an Olympian, and an acquired war movie that's already blowing up. Here's what to watch this weekend!

Cobra Kai season 6 part 1

One of Netflix's most popular original series has returned to begin its ending. Cobra Kai season 6 part 1 made its premiere on July 18, and it didn't take long for the five all-new episodes to shoot the series straight to the peak of the daily top 10 ranking. The beginning of season 6 has plenty of drama and emotion, including a shocking death that sends Tory over the edge. There's more drama to come in the five-episode parts 2 and 3, which will be released on Nov. 15 and in 2025 respectively. Restart from the beginning or dive into season 6 part 1, just don't miss out on catching up!

Find Me Falling

Romantic comedies have been on quite the hot streak this year on Netflix, between the streamer's original movies Players, Irish Wish, Mother of the Bride, and A Family Affair. Not to mention, Anyone But You was a huge hit when it made its Netflix debut. It's all set the stage for another summer rom-com with Harry Connick Jr. starring in Find Me Falling. The movie has music and love and a beautiful setting. What more could you possibly want from a romantic comedy meant for a bit of weekend escapism?
