The Perfect Couple

Watch! Based on the Elin Hilderbrand novel of the same name, The Perfect Couple centers on a wealthy family in Nantucket as they gather together for a major wedding for one of their own. However, a sudden death launches a murder investigation and fingers are pointed at everyone in the family and wedding party.

Nicole Kidman leads the series as the Winbury family matriarch and popular novelist Greer Garrison Winbury and the rest of the cast is fleshed out by Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Dakota Fanning, Jack Reynor, Meghann Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, and more. The Perfect Couple is the perfect late-summer treat and a must-watch when it debuts on Sept. 5.

The Circle season 7

Skip! It's only been a few months since The Circle season 6 began airing in April 2024, but the popular Netflix original reality competition series returns with season 7 on Sept. 11. The social media-centric reality series is a bit like Big Brother, though the contestants live separately and interact via social media. While it's a fun watch, if you haven't already gotten into the series, you're unlikely to jump into the series in season 7. Skip unless you're already a superfan!

Emily in Paris season 4 part 2

Watch! She's back, and it's like she never left! Following the August launch of Emily in Paris season 4, the second half of the season arrives on Sept. 12, and there's sure to be plenty of surprises in store when Emily sets off on a Roman holiday. Between new experiences and new people coming into her life, Emily's season 4 adventure is only getting more complicated.

Even though Emily and Gabriel did finally get together in Emily in Paris season 4 part 1, Camille's continuing to keep a secret that could ultimately push the happy couple apart. And by the looks of the season 4 part 2 trailer, Emily will be getting swept off her feet by an Italian suitor. Don't miss a second of the rom-com's most exciting season yet!

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story

Watch! Even though some viewers will have understandable reservations about Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, the true crime anthology series' second season looks to be one of Netflix's major tentpole releases in the beginning of fall. There's no doubt Monsters has the power to become one of the streamer's biggest shows of the year.

The reaction to the anthology series' first season, which focused on Jeffrey Dahmer, was mixed, though the series went one to earn awards recognition. This time around, the series looks to ask who the real monsters were at the center of the Menendez Brothers case. Surely, this will be a difficult watch, but it's one of the month's must-watches when it drops on Sept. 19.

Nobody Wants This

Watch! A cynical agnostic meets a rabbi. What happens next? Well, seeing as Nobody Wants This is a romantic comedy series, the unlikely pair will be falling for each other. And who's better at bringing chemistry to the screen than Kristen Bell and Adam Brody?

The duo's team-up for the new Netflix original series is what the dreams of Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, and The O.C. fans are made of. Seriously, doesn't it get any better than this? You don't even need to watch a trailer or a read a synopsis to know that Nobody Wants This should be at the top of your watch list when it debuts on Sept. 26.

Outlast season 2

Skip! Beyond The Circle, there are so many unscripted series coming to Netflix in September, including Selling Sunset season 8, What's Next? The Future with Bill Gates, Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry, and Oulast season 2. Fans of unscripted and reality content will have to choose their own adventure with these titles, but if you're not a fan of survival competition series, you definitely won't need to rush to watch Outlast season 2 on Sept. 4.
