Here's when the rest of Emily in Paris season 4 releases on Netflix

Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 just hit Netflix on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024. It's safe to say that millions of fans have already watched the first five episodes of the fourth season by now. Unfortunately, all those fans are in for a bit of a wait before the second half of the season is released.

Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 will be released on Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 12. Season 4 part 2 will be available to stream at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET.

That's exactly four weeks after the first half of season 4 premiered on Netflix. It's aligned with Netflix's release strategy for major shows for a little more than a year now. Not every big show is getting split into two parts, but it's happening a lot more often lately. Bridgerton and Cobra Kai were the most recent Netflix shows with split seasons, and it worked out really well for Bridgerton season 3. The season is the sixth most popular season of an English-language Netflix show ever, according to the Netflix Top 10.

Will Emily in Paris season 4 crack the Netflix Top 10? We'll have to wait until this fall to find out!

There are 10 episodes in Emily in Paris season 4! Unfortunately, only five of those episodes are streaming on Netflix right now, and that's probably going to be confusing for some fans who have been waiting more than two years to watch the fourth season on Netflix!

There are five episodes in each part of Emily in Paris season 4. The first five episodes, as mentioned, were released on Thursday, Aug. 15, while the next five-episode batch will be released on Thursday, Sept. 12.

What to expect in Emily in Paris season 4 part 2

Spoilers ahead for the first half of Emily in Paris season 4 part 1!

I don't want to get into all the details of what happened in the first half of Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 because they might not all be relevant for the second half of the season, but there are a few main points that need to be mentioned.

First of all, Emily has made her choice, finally! It's Gabriel. It's not Alfie. It never was Alfie. It's always been Gabriel. The world just never let them be together until now. And, I'm sorry to all the Emily and Alfie shippers out there, but the writing has been on the wall that this was happening. So, all aboard the Gabe train!

We're definitely going to see Gabriel and Emily continue their relationship in the second half of the season. Where will the romance lead? Well, I have an idea, but I don't want to share it just yet.

From promo and production listings, we also know that Emily and the gang are headed to Rome in the second half of season 4. We don't know when or for how long, but because of the actors' and writers' strikes and the Paris Olympics, Emily in Paris had to move production. The creative team chose Rome, and we didn't get to see Emily in Rome yet, so we know it's happening in part 2.

There are a few other things that have been set up, including the reveal that Camille was never pregnant. Oh man, is that about to blow up? I think so, but it should only bring Emily and Gabriel closer while cutting out Camille entirely. I mean, it's been several seasons in the works, too.

There's bound to be more drama with Emily's work, Gabriel's restaurant, and the return of Alfie, but I'm not worried about it. The important thing is Gabriel and Emily are together. Who's going to stop them now? Nobody.
