In order to do so, Layla must track down a ticket to Pentatonix's sold out Christmas concert in New York City. The acapella singing group appears in the movie as themselves, and considering Milian's a talented vocalist herself, she's sure to sing a tune or two as well. Right after Hot Frosty heats things up, The Merry Gentlemen arrives to put a little bit of sexiness in Netflix's Christmas movie slate. But if you're wondering what the movie's about, a woman attempts to save her family's small-town performance venue by hosting an all-male holiday spectacular and oh man is it spectacular! Along the way, of course there's romance. Keep your calendars clear for a movie night on Nov. 20.

Over the years, Netflix has enjoyed a fair amount of Christmas movie hits, animated and otherwise, outside of the romantic comedy genre. The Christmas Chronicles and Klaus come to mind, and they will soon be joined by the British animated family movie That Christmas. Based on the books by Richard Curtis, the movie tells a number of intertwined stories set during Christmastime featuring themes of family, love, friendship, loneliness, and more. Santa Claus himself appears in one of the delightfully hilarious holiday stories! Check it out with the family on Dec. 4.
Carry-On
Release Date: Dec. 13
Starring: Taron Egerton, Jason Bateman, Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Sinqua Walls, Logan Marshall-Green, Theo Rossi, Josh Brener, Dean Norris, Tonatiuh, Curtiss Cook, Joe Williamson, Gil Perez-Abraham
Neither a Christmas romantic comedy nor a traditional holiday movie, Carry-On takes an action-thriller spin to mix up the streamer's Christmas fare. Taking place during the holiday season, specifically on Christmas Eve, Taron Egerton stars as TSA agent Ethan Kopek as he attempts to thwart a mysterious traveler who found a way to sneak a "dangerous package" aboard an airplane. The edge-of-your-seat thriller stars Jason Bateman as the blackmailing traveler and Sofia Carson as Egerton's love interest. Buckle up for a turbulent flight when the movie arrives Dec. 13.
