Cobra Kai series finale release date confirmed for February 2025

As Cobra Kai fans know all too well, the countdown to the beloved show's series finale is on! Since the series became a Netflix original series, it's been one of the most popular shows on the streamer, but all good things must come to an end. After six great seasons, the fan-favorite series will officially come to an end in early 2025.

The show's sixth and final season kicked off in July 2024 with first batch of five episodes, followed by the release of season 6 part 2 on Nov. 15. Cobra Kai's writing team chose the three-part release for the 15 -episode final celebration for fans and to make sure the series ends on its best and most satisfying note. It's safe to say they're fulfilling that promise!

However, once fans finished binge-watching the latest batch of five episode in season 6 part 2, the next question will be what happens next, but most importantly, when will the final episodes premiere on Netflix?! Thankfully, on the same day as the Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 release, Netflix didn't keep us guessing on the part 3 release date and revealed the exciting news.

Cobra Kai season 6 finishes in February 2025

When you finish watching season 6 part 2, an end card announces that Cobra Kai season 6 part 3 releases on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025. Netflix had previously announced that the series finale "event" would be released in 2025, though there currently aren't any further announcements about what the finale event will entail beyond the final five episodes of the series.

Even though the wait for the last batch of episodes seems long, it's only three months away from the release of part 2 on Nov. 15. On the bright side, that's better than the one or two year waits fans have had to endure for other Netflix shows like Stranger Things, Wednesday, Sweet Magnolias, and many more. And once season 6 part 3 premieres, that's it! No more episodes!

While Netflix hasn't yet released an official synopsis or teaser trailer for part 3, fans will be able to suspect what's next for our favorite characters when the series returns. Part 2 took place during the Sekai Taikai semifinals and finds many characters in battle with each other. Without giving away any major spoilers, the part 2 ending features a shocking moment and keeps us guessing who ultimately wins.

As much as cliffhangers drive viewers mad, they are what keep us coming back for more drama and excitement! All of our burning questions will be answered in Cobra Kai season 6 part 3, which lands this plane once and for all.
