The last nine months have been incredible for new Netflix shows. We've seen some mega-hits released in that stretch, including Stranger Things season 5, Bridgerton season 4, Wednesday season 2, and many more. Now, there are even more big Netflix shows coming in the last nine months of the year.
Stranger Things, Bridgerton, and Wednesday are the three most popular Netflix shows of all time. We might not see quite the same level of Netflix hits on the way later this year, but there are some excellent, popular shows Netflix subscribers need to know about.
Let's get the list started with the show and season I'm most excited to watch this year, Outer Banks season 5.

Outer Banks season 5
At the end of the year, Outer Banks season 5 is definitely going to be one of the most popular releases of the year. We don't know the release date for Outer Banks season 5, but the general consensus is that we'll see the new season in late summer or early fall on Netflix.
Unfortunately, this is the final season of Outer Banks. After losing a Pogue brother in the season 4 finale, the Pogues are ready to get even and take their revenge on Groff in the final season. All the Pogues are back for the final season, except for Rudy Pankow. Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Jonathan Davis, Madison Bailey, Drew Starkey, and Carlacia Grant will all be back.
Now, we're just waiting to find out when exactly Netflix is going to drop the season! Stay tuned for more news about Outer Banks season 5.

Ginny and Georgia season 4
Ginny and Georgia season 4 is coming to Netflix in 2026! For a while after season 3, it was unclear if the new season would be ready for 2026, but it's pretty clear now that we'll see the new season this year. There's also no doubt that it's going to be one of the biggest shows of the year.
The whole gang is back for the new season, including Antonia Gentry, Brianne Howey, Diesel La Torraca, and more. I know it's been a while since season 3, but there are some truly shocking things that happen at the end of season 3 that have huge ramifications for season 4.
Production on Ginny and Georgia season 4 just wrapped in March 2026, so we probably still have some time to wait for the new season. Most likely, we'll see the new season in late summer or early fall at the earliest.

Emily in Paris season 6
Emily in Paris season 5 ended with Emily returning to Paris after a brief romance in Italy. The door is left wide open for the rekindling of a past love. And, based on a new report from Variety, there's reason to believe that's where this season is headed.
Emily in Paris season 6 is gearing up to start production in May 2026, which puts the release date for this year in question. But, Netflix has revealed that we will see the new season sometime this year.
At the time of publishing, I'm banking on a late 2026 release, like potentially the week before or right after Christmas. Netflix has dropped new seasons of Emily in Paris around that time in the past, so that's what I'm guessing will be the plan.

The Hunting Wives season 2
The Hunting Wives was the surprise Netflix hit of 2025, and now, the show, which didn't even start as a Netflix original series, is coming back for season 2 exclusively on Netflix.
At the end of the first season of The Hunting Wives, things took a deadly turn for Sophie, played by Brittany Snow. Although the season's first mystery was "solved," this steamy murder mystery series is just getting started.
Production on The Hunting Wives season 2 started late last year and finished in March 2026. We should see this series return for season 2 in late summer or early fall on Netflix, but there's no word on a release date just yet.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story
Netflix's Monster anthology series is one of the biggest TV franchises of the last four years since the premiere of Dahmer: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story in 2022. Since then, we've seen two more seasons of focusing on the Menendez brothers (season 2) and Ed Gein (season 3).
Now, Monster is back for season 4, and it's telling Lizzie Borden's story. Ella Beatty and Charlie Hunnam will star in the next season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Netflix series.
We're expecting Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story to be released in the fall of 2026, but Netflix has not shared the release date yet.

The Gentlemen season 2
It's been more than two years since The Gentlemen starring Theo James premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2024, but we have some good news. In an interview with TechRadar, Theo James confirmed that production has officially wrapped on The Gentlemen season 2.
James also confirmed that the new season of the Guy Ritchie series will be released sometime on Netflix this fall. We don't have a release date for The Gentlemen season 2, and we still have a long time to wait, unfortunately, but it's great to finally have an answer after all this time.
By the time season 2 rolls around, it will have been at least two and a half years between the first and second seasons. The first season was such a big hit, but it will be really interesting to see if fans tune back in. I think they will, and that's why it's on the list.

Harlan Coben's I Will Find You
We've already seen one Harlan Coben Netflix show this year, but there's another on the way very soon. Run Away was the latest Harlan Coben series. It premiered on New Year's Day 2026. Netflix likes to kick off the new year with an original series based on Coben's works. That's not going to happen with the next one.
I Will Find You is based on Coben's 2023 book of the same name. It tells the story of David Burroughs, played by Sam Worthington, who is serving a prison sentence for killing his own son. When David finds out that his son might be alive, he does everything he can to find him and prove his innocence.
In addition to Worthington, I Will Find You also stars Logan Browning, Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Jonathan Tucker, and Erin Richards.
The series will be the first of Coben's Netflix shows that will be set in America, even though it was actually filmed in Canada. I Will Find You could be released on Netflix at anytime, although we don't have a release date. I'm guessing we'll see it sometime this summer, but I could be wrong.
We'll share more good Netflix shows coming this year. Stay tuned for more great titles to watch on Netflix.
