Netflix’s Sonic Prime cast: Who’s in the animated series?

December has some impressive new animated Netflix arrivals, especially with the recent addition of Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and Dragon Age: Absolution to the platform. Another series in the animation category is Sonic Prime, which is set to hit the streaming service on Dec.15.

The most recent adaptation of the legendary hedgehog finds him stuck in a parallel universe following a dispute with Dr. Eggman. As a result, Sonic is launched into a bizarre world that he is desperate to escape from, all while trying to save his friends.

So who is set to voice the iconic characters from Sonic Prime? Let’s take a look at the cast below!

  • Ian Hanlin as Big the Cat
  • Vincent Tong as Dr. Babble

Deven Christian Mack plays the legendary Sonic and comes equipped with an impressive background, voicing various characters in animated television series. His credits include playing Thanos in several Lego Marvel Avengers iterations and Chuck in the Netflix series Angry Birds: Summer Madness.

Brian Drummond stars as the cunning Dr. Eggman, who is always up to no good. Drummond was previously in the Japanese anime series Dragon Ball Z and portrayed multiple characters.

My Little Pony voice actor Ashleigh Ball is another extension of the cast, depicting Sonic’s trusted sidekick, Tails, while You actress Shannon Chan-Kent steps into the role of Amy Rose. Knuckles also features in the series and is played by actor Adam Nurada who is also the voice for various characters in the Netflix series Deepa and Anoop.

Ian Hanlin, Vincent Tong, and Kazumi Evans also feature in the series, and most of the leading cast voice various versions of their characters in the Shatterverse.
