Who plays Carly in Locke and Key season 3?

Less than a year since the last installment, a new season of Locke and Key has just dropped on Netflix and it marks the end of the live-action series. The fantasy show is an adaptation of the comic book of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez, and it follows the Locke family who discovers magic keys in their new home. At first, the mysterious keys are super fun and cool, but the siblings learn pretty quickly how dangerous they can also be.

The Locke family consists of mom Nina (Darby Stanchfield), daughter Kinsey (Emilia Jones), older son Tyler (Connor Jessup), and younger son Bode (Jackson Robert Scott). The kids’ father, Rendell (Bill Heck), unfortunately passed away before the start of the show after being shot and killed over the keys. Each of these central characters have their own story and trauma, and that only continues when they move to their new home at Keyhouse.

At the end of Locke and Key season 2, Tyler goes off on a road trip before starting college, choosing not to use the Memory Key to remember the magic keys. In the show, only children can remember magic, not adults. Because Tyler is about to turn 18, he chooses to forget all his trauma that came from the keys, including the reason for girlfriend Jackie (Genevieve Kang)’s death.

When Locke and Key season 3 opens up, Tyler is building houses out in Montana with a new character named Carly. There’s definitely a potential romance brewing, with Carly being a little bit more forward than Tyler about it. Though Tyler doesn’t remember the magic, he knows that his girlfriend Jackie died and he has his guard up because of it. But that doesn’t stop Carly from trying.

Carly is portrayed by the actress Oriana Leman, who’s pretty new to the scene. According to IMDb, she only has two acting credits to her name besides Locke and Key, including a 2018 documentary series The Detectives and a 2020 short that she also directed called The Whale.

As told on her website, Leman lives in Canada. Because she’s still an up-and-comer, we couldn’t find her age or relationship history. However, we did find her Instagram page, which she hasn’t posted on since January of this year.
