The time is almost here to say goodbye to the Locke siblings. We’ll finally get all the answers about the keys, and we’ll see who the Lockes and their friends will work together to protect the world from the demons looking to gather the keys together and take over the world.

All episodes will drop at once, which is normal for Netflix. There’s still a need to know how many episodes there are. While it’s not for when the series finale will air, we need to know so we have an idea of the number of hours needed to binge-watch. That’s especially the case if you’re planning on staying up to watch the episodes on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Locke and Key season 3 episode count

Unlike the first two seasons, there will be eight episodes in Locke and Key season 3. This is becoming a standard amount of episodes for streaming shows. There are the odd shows that get 10 to 13 episodes, but we usually see around eight. It helps to keep out the fluff, putting all the focus on the main story.

However, the first two seasons got 10 episodes each. This didn’t seem enough for the intricate storytelling at the time, so I’m curious if eight episodes is going to end up being enough.

This is the final season of the series. No, Netflix didn’t cancel it. The plan was to always bring the series to an end after three seasons.

The Locke family will need to stick together this season. They’re going up against the biggest threat yet, all while Tyler has chosen not to use the Memory Key just yet. He’s struggling to deal with the loss of Jackie, and forgetting magic means he could forget her death. He’s closing in on his 18th birthday, though. Will this make him an easy target for the bad guys?
