Stranger Things season 4 posters released

Stranger Things season 4 marketing has started to kick off with the drop of four brand new posters!

We knew something Stranger Things related was coming rather soon after Netflix tweeted out a billboard image that read, “Every ending has a beginning.” Not even 24 hours later we received four new posters for season 4. Along with other huge news.

The first poster that dropped on Thursday features Hopper, Joyce and Murray as they seem to be making their way outside of the prison where we know Hopper has been. Also, if you take a close look at the image, you can see a demodog dead in the snow. Many fans have the theory that Joyce finds out that Hopper is still alive and grabs Murray to go and break him out. This poster would seem to back that up in some way.

The second poster that we got from the Stranger Things gang features Eleven inside the building that started it all for her, Hawkins Lab. We know from the teaser trailers that were released for season four, that not only was the lab a factor in this season but Dr. Brenner was returning. Many fans believe that Eleven will be captured and brought back to the lab in season 4.

The Creel house strikes again with the third poster featuring Nancy, Steve, Dustin, Max, Lucas, Robin, Erica and what seems to be a new character. The Creel house was featured in a previous teaser that was released for season 4 and we saw the gang inside of the house. Not only do we see them in the house in this poster but that clock that has been featured throughout promotion for season four makes its way into this poster.

The final poster that was released for season four features Mike, Will, Jonathan, and a new character that we will meet in the new season. Obviously, Eleven is not with them and it seems to me that they are on a mission to find her and get her back from wherever she may be. California love may not last long if things go south for the gang.

When will Stranger Things season 4 be released?

Fans have been waiting patiently for season 4 to release and we finally have a release date with a bit of a twist.

Along with the poster releases, Stranger Things announced that it will be releasing season 4 into two volumes. Volume 1 is set to release on May 27 and Volume 2 will be releasing on July 1.

They announced this in a poster format so a total of five posters were released today!

Not only did we get a release date for season four, but we also found out that season 5 will be the final season for the Stranger Things series. It’s bitter-sweet knowing that, but it’s something that was expected over the past couple of years.

So yes, fans can relax and start to get even more excited now that we have an official release date for the upcoming season.
