You’re about to find a lot of familiar names in the remaining top 10 characters on Netflix. These are, after all, the most popular shows on the streaming giant. Let’s see how many of your favorites made it to the top!

The top 10 characters on Netflix:

9. Emma Mackey “Maeve Wiley,” Sex Education
8. Natasha Lyonne “Nadia Vulvokov,” Russian Doll
7. Krysten Ritter “Jessica Jones,” Marvel’s Jessica Jones
6. Millie Bobby Brown “Eleven,” Stranger Things
5. Asa Butterfield “Otis Mulburn,” Sex Education
4. Jon Bernthal “Frank Castle,” Marvel’s The Punisher
3. Kiernan Shipka “Sabrina Spellman,” Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
2. Robert Sheehan “Klaus Hargreeves,” The Umbrella Academy
1. Tom Ellis “Lucifer Morningstar,” Lucifer

The top 10 is divided, featuring five women and five men, I say that sounds about right. While women on Netflix have been absolutely amazing (Jessica Jones, Russian Doll, Sabrina), the men have also delivered incredible performances.

Natasha Lyonne lands at No. 8 with her character Nadia from Russian Doll. It’s no surprise Nadia captured a lot of attention. For starters, Lyonne is one of our favorite actresses after seeing her star in Orange is the New Black and completely steal the show. Russian Doll is returning for a second season, so we’ll likely see Nadia on this countdown again.

This also wouldn’t be a top characters on Netflix countdown without the presence of Marvel. You’ll find Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Marvel’s The Punisher represented by Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones and Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle, respectively. It’s a shame the Netflix-Marvel Universe has been canceled. It’s shocking, however, not seeing Daredevil’s Matt Murdock anywhere on the list, since the series is the most popular in the Netflix-Marvel Universe.

Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) didn’t need to cast a spell to be the favorite female character on the list. She lands at No. 3, surely making the cast and crew of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina proud. Another favorite is Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven, which you’ll find at No. 6 thanks to Stranger Things. The Stranger Things cast might be moving up, as the new season of the series was just released, so it will be interesting to check out this list at the year’s end to see how different it looks.

Finally, would you look at that! Tom Ellis is No. 1 with his Lucifer character Lucifer Morningstar. This comes as no surprise, Lucifer broke a Binge Report record as the most-watched series on Netflix for 8 consecutive weeks. That’s right, two months! Despite Stranger Things taking over the No. 1 spot at the Binge Report recently, Lucifer continues to be one of the most popular shows on the streaming service.

A fifth and final season for Lucifer is currently in the works and we can’t wait to watch the epic finale!
