You’ve done it, Lucifans! Lucifer on Netflix has broken a Binge Report record for most consecutive weeks at No. 1.

All hail, Lucifer! Lucifer on Netflix has withstood the test of time and several batches of new debuts on the streaming giant, yet nothing took its crown and No. 1 spot at TV Time‘s Binge Report for seven weeks in a row.

I was amazed after four weeks, so imagine my delight now. I’ve been monitoring the Binge Report for a while now and have never seen a series last more than three or four weeks in the top 10, let alone the No. 1 spot! However, Game of Thrones has previously held this record.

Season 7 of the HBO series used to hold the record with six consecutive weeks but has now been unseated by Lucifer. That’s quite an impressive feat, even I must say. Will this change anything for Lucifer‘s already planned fifth and final season? Probably not.

Ildy Modrovich, the showrunner of Lucifer, shared her thoughts on the final season and cleared up some of the misconceptions out there. Based on her comments, it doesn’t seem like Netflix, nor the creative team, is looking at making season 6, which means season 5 will be the final season of the series.

At the moment, fans continue to be divided on Lucifer‘s future. While many want more than season 5, others are content with one big final season serving as an incredible send-off. Where do you stand?

Ranking high on the Binge Report is also Dark at No. 2, which recently premiered its second season on Netflix. Other Netflix Originals on the top 10 are Marvel’s Jessica Jones, up from last week at No. 4, and Trinkets up from last week at No. 6.

No new series has been able to dethrone Lucifer, but there’s one that may be turning its world Upside Down, and that’s Stranger Things 3The beloved Netflix series drops all 8 episodes Thursday, July 4 — and it’s one of the most anticipated shows of the year.

Will the Netflix original series be strong enough to continue holding onto No. 1 or happily retire with a new record under its belt? We’ll have to wait and see!
