Why watch: Despite not being the strongest season, The Vampire Diaries season 5 certainly had some good episodes. This was one of them.
It’s most definitely not your typical Valentine’s Day episodes. After all, it reminds us that not everyone is loved up over this holiday (and some of us just don’t celebrate it). Instead of a dance for all the couples, Caroline encourages her friends to attend the “Bitter Ball” at Whitmore College, without realizing that Katherine has taken over Elena’s body.
Topped with Bonnie looking into a student that uses witchcraft and Bonnie wrongly assumes this girl needs help, you just know that this episode will end with plenty of broken hearts. Yours won’t be one of them though, because Damon and Enzo will certainly steal it.
