Robert De Niro stars along with Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Angela Bassett, Joan Allen, Matthew Modine, and Connie Britton in the new miniseries. Lesli Linka Glatter (Mad Men) directs the entire miniseries and is also the executive producer.

What is the premise of Zero Day?
America and the rest of the world are under attack by cyberattacks that infiltrate the world’s info systems and securities that threaten the digital age. Conspiracy theories swirl as the government tries to get to the truth. From airports to train rails, the cyberattack turns into total chaos.
Former President George Mullen (De Niro) is brought out of retirement to be tasked to advise the U.S. government and the White House where national security is under scrutiny. As society takes a turn into the unknown, the digital age enters into charter waters that could make or break in protecting technology. The pressure is under President Mitchell (Bassett) to keep the U.S. safe as the digital age is no longer safe, and Congress is investigating the motives.
The miniseries will be streaming on Netflix on February 20. This will be the first miniseries for De Niro in his career.
