What happened to Thomas Mikal Ford?

Thomas played Thomas "Tommy" Strawn, another one of Martin's close friends in the show. He was born on Sept. 5, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, making his zodiac sign Virgo. Additionally, he was 27 years old when Martin season 1 premiered. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 52 on Oct. 12, 2016. After an aneurysm burst in his abdomen, he was rushed to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. But unfortunately, he didn't make it with his cause of death being a ruptured abdominal aneurysm.

On the day of his unfortunate passing, an Instagram post from Ford's account was shared with the world. Here's what the post said below.

"To all family and friends of Tommy Ford. We would like to inform everyone that our brother passed away today October 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Please keep his family in your prayers as they go through this challenging time. He was so dearly loved by so many and for that lets all be grateful for a life well served."
