Love is Blind season 7 premieres in 2024: Here's what we know so far

For the first time in a long time, we heard some positive news about Love is Blind season 7!

During the most recent Netflix earnings call with investors (Q2), Ted Sarandos, Netflix CEO, teased the upcoming Netflix lineup for the end of the year. Sarandos mentioned a new season of Love is Blind is coming to Netflix before the year is over.

"Just before the end of this year we’ve got Squid Game’s return, Emily in Paris’s return, a new season of Selling Sunset, The Lincoln Lawyer, The Diplomat, Virgin River, Love is Blind, Ryan Murphy has an incredible new season of Monsters. That’s all just coming up before the end of the year."

That's obviously incredible news for fans of the series! We're excited; you're excited. We're all excited.

On top of that, we have Love is Blind: Mexico, which is airing new episodes at the beginning of August. On Aug. 7, Netflix is adding the first season of Love is Blind UK, which sure seems like it's going to be a hit.

Perfect Match season 2, which featured several of the fan-favorites from the last few seasons of Love is Blind, just came to an end at the end of June 2024. Too Hot to Handle season 6 premieres on July 18.

The news about Love is Blind season 7 has been pretty sparse lately, but there are a few updates to share with fans of the franchise. Love is Blind season 7 is happening. Netflix confirmed season 6 and season 7 in December. Love is Blind season 6 premiered on Valentine's Day 2024.

Has Netflix announced the Love is Blind season 7 release date yet?

Since announcing the renewal, we hadn't heard anything official from Netflix regarding the Love is Blind season 7 release date until Sarandos mentioned it on the latest earnings call. Now, we have a good idea of when to expect the new season.

More than other Netflix shows, Love is Blind is pretty consistent with its release schedule. Usually, Netflix adds a new season of Love is Blind in February or March followed by a new season later that fall. So far, we've seen season 2, season 4, and season 6 in the early part of the year, while season 3 and season 5 have been released in the fall.

We should see Love is Blind season 7 in the fall of 2024, like September or October if the season followed the typical release pattern. At the earliest, we're less than two months away from the premiere of Love is Blind season 7. If that's the case, and the new season will arrive in September, we could find out the news any day now!

New rumor suggests Washington D.C. is the location of Love is Blind season 7

There are a lot of rumors about where the next season of Love is Blind is going to be set. We've seen official casting calls for several cities, including Denver, Minneapolis, Detroit, Tampa, and more.

According to a Reddit thread, filming on the Minneapolis season and a Denver season of Love is Blind was happening in the spring of 2024. There's been a lot of talk of Minneapolis or Denver being the location of the next season of the series, but we've seen and heard otherwise online.

One of the most upvoted Reddit posts about Love is Blind season 7 thread mentions claims that Washington D.C. will be season 7 while Minneapolis will be season 8. Additionally, there are multiple claims online that Washington D.C. was actually filming in the fall of 2023, which was before filming started on the Denver and Minneapolis seasons.

So, if those claims are to be believed, we'll see Love is Blind season 7 in and around Washington D.C. and then we'll see Minneapolis and Denver couples featured in the next seasons.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey will be back as hosts for Love is Blind season 7, too! In an interview with Task & Purpose, Vanessa revealed that there will be a woman who is a veteran in season 7, which seems to confirm that the new season is set in the D.C. area.

New Love is Blind shows coming to Netflix soon

As mentioned, there are more Love is Blind shows coming to Netflix soon! They aren't set in the United States, but for the first time, Love is Blind is going to Germany and the UK for the next few seasons, along with Argentina, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates.

Next up is Love is Blind: UK, which premieres on Aug. 7, 2024. We're getting weekly episode releases for that series. New episodes will drop on Aug. 14 and Aug. 21.
