Dinner Time Live with David Chang returns with holiday-centric season 2 in October 2024
World-renowned chef David Chang isn't quite done serving up gourmet dishes for his celebrity friends and sharing culinary secrets. After a successful first season, Netflix has announced that Dinner Time Live with David Chang will be coming back with a brand new holiday-themed second installment this October!
Dinner Time Live with David Chang is a Netflix cooking series coming from Majordomo Media and Den of Thieves. Brandon Monk serves as showrunner and an executive producer along with Chang, Chris Ying, Christopher Chen, Noelle Cornelio, Jesse Ignatovic, Evan Prager, and Jared Morell.
The first season premiered on the streamer back in January 2024 and is still currently ongoing as of Sept. 10. Throughout the show, viewers watch as Chang cooks up various tasty dishes for his celebrity guests in his kitchen in downtown Los Angeles. Some of the celebrity guests in season 1 were Aziz Ansari, Lily Collins, Terry Crews, Gabriel Iglesius, Lil Jon, Rashida Jones, Seth Rogen, Maya Rudolph, and Steven Yeun.
This show is one of Netflix's live programming, meaning each episode airs live on the streamer. Netflix releases the episodes weekly. The same will go for the upcoming Dinner Time Live with David Chang season 2, which will show Chang cooking holiday-themed dishes for his guests. The new season is slated to air live on Netflix starting Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. PT/7:00 p.m. ET. New episodes will then be released weekly every Tuesday at the same time.
The second season will consist of nine 50-minute episodes, so there will be plenty to watch and enjoy. However, it's unknown at the moment what celebrity friends Chang will invite to his cooking show this season. We can't wait to find out, though!
While you wait for Dinner Time Live with David Chang season 2 to begin airing, we recommend checking out some of Netflix's previous live programming, such as The Roast of Tom Brady and Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef.
