Bridgerton season 3 part 1

A new release over two years in the making... It's finally time for new episodes of Bridgerton. The first four episodes of the eight-episode season 3 begin streaming on Netflix on May 16, and diehard fans of the series are surely counting down the hours, minutes, and seconds.

Prior to the release of season 3, much has been made about the chemistry and steamy scenes between Penelope and Colin, which involved accidentally breaking a bed on set. Everyone's also gearing up for the book's famous "carriage scene" and all of the various moments of intimacy that had Nicola Coughlan asking for a PG cut to watch with her mom. She's so real because it doesn't get much hotter than Bridgerton!

Outlander season 6

Speaking of sexy period dramas, there's a brand-new season of Outlander coming to Netflix right at the top of May. The series has somewhat become known, like Bridgerton, for its steamy sequences of intimacy. So, it's interesting to learn that the Starz drama didn't have an intimacy coordinator before the sixth season.

Sam Heughan brought an intimacy coordinator on board to help make the set even safer for the show's various sex scenes between Claire and Jamie as well as other pairings. That's so great for the actors! Get ready to ship your favorite couples when season 6 finally arrives on Netflix on May 1.

Thank You, Next

Clearly inspired by the hit Ariana Grande song of the same title, the upcoming Turkish romantic drama series Thank You, Next premieres on May 6 and could very well be the next surprise show to rocket into the top 10.

In the series, a recently single young lawyer named Leyla begins dating again as she faces off against a hot-headed hunk in court. Leyla will be heading out on a few dates, are there are sure to be some duds in the mix. Hence the title! If you like foreign series with romance and intrigue (and a bit of eye candy, no judgment here), this is definitely one you will want to be adding to your watch list in May.

Wildfire

A show that's much more tame than Bridgerton and Outlander, there's a throwback headed to Netflix in May that's perfect for a younger demographic. Wildfire hearkens back to the ye old days of ABC Family, when the cable network cranked out thrilling and TV-14 sexiness for tweens and teens.

The series takes place on a ranch and features all kinds of love triangles and drama and everything you want from a teen soap. All four seasons of of the real #TBT treat begin streaming on May 21, so if you want a strong dose of nostalgia to remind you of your teenage crushes on Matt and Junior, it's about time to rewatch the forgotten favorite on Netflix in May.
