We're officially three episodes into A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, and the mystery is just starting to develop. As it turns out, not everyone has been telling the truth about Andie Bell and how well they knew her. Pippa tries to solve the mystery and find out who knew more about Andie's death than they revealed back then.

Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder introduced a big twist at the end of the second episode of the series. After learning from Nat that Andie was close with Max leading up to her death, Pippa questions Max at his house where she finds a nearly nude photo of Andie in his room.

Max admits that he knew Andie much better than he led earlier, but they weren’t in a relationship. He claims that Andie was his drug dealer, and he bought drugs from her at calamity parties, which appear to be parties for younger people in their small town.

To find out how deep Andie was in the scene, Pippa goes to a calamity party with her friends to find out what’s going on and to see if she can gather information.

When Lauren, Cara, and Pippa get to the party, which is like in caves in the forest, it’s basically like a rave meets an actual party meets a party that you only see on TV and movies. Anyway, a few things lead to another and Pippa finds herself on the hunt for a mythical drug dealer. You just have to ask around for drugs and then the drug dealer’s minions take you to his underground lair where he and his friends are using and abusing.

Pippa meets Howie, the alleged drug dealer who Andie was working for, and questions him. It goes about as well as you’d expect. Pippa clearly thinks that this Howie person could be the person who Andie was seeing, so when he picks up that he’s being questioned about her murder, he isn’t totally happy about that.

In her haste to escape, Pippa runs into the person who led her to Howie. He assaults her, but Pippa escapes and runs home.

That night, Pippa receives another threatening message, this time via text, from someone who wants her to stop looking into the case. That’s the second episode in a row that Pippa has received such a threat.

For the next few scenes, Pippa waffles on continuing the investigation. She runs into Andie’s sister, Becca, who questions her about the case and why she’s so invested in stirring up things when it’s all settled. It appears Pippa’s starting to garner a reputation, and Pippa doesn’t want to cause more trouble for Andie’s family, so she considers stopping her investigation, especially after Pippa’s mom tries to talk her out of it. Pippa decides to go all-in on this case.

In the morning, Pippa and Ravi break into Andie’s house looking for her burner phone. They almost get caught when Becca returns home, but when Officer Dan Da Silva arrives to warn Becca that someone was seen around their house, Ravi and Pippa are able to sneak out. The episode ends with Dan seeing the pair driving away from Becca’s house.

I think we all know what’s going to happen next! And, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ravi and Pippa in trouble with the police.

Halfway through the season, Pippa and Ravi are going to extreme lengths, committing crimes even, to try to prove Sal's innocence. You have to take a few risks to get to crack the case, I guess.

Up next is A Good Girl's Guide to Murder episode 4!
