There's all kinds of celebrations in order for Joanne and Noah, who not only got engaged in Nobody Wants This season 3 but also managed to sneak in a secret wedding at the season's end. As it turns out, their love story isn't over just yet. Two weeks after the Emmy Award-nominated comedy's return, Netflix went ahead and gave the fans exactly what we want.

Nobody Wants This season 4 earned its official renewal on Nov. 6 following the viewership success of the third season. Despite the slight controversy that followed the show's promotional run for season 3, fans continued to adoringly follow along with Joanne and Noah, and especially fell head over heels for Morgan and Sasha as they finally acted on the sparks between them.

Upon the announcement of Nobody Wants This season 4, co-showrunner Jenni Konner spoke with Netflix's Tudum and gave fans an advanced tease about what's in store for the new episodes. "They’re married in the eyes of God, but not in the eyes of anyone else yet. There are a lot of people who are going to find out that Noah and Joanne are married when we come back." Their secret will come out!

In the final episode of Nobody Wants This season 3, Joanne celebrated her conversion to Judaism with a ceremony on the beach with Noah and Rabbi Eden. While their families argued about everything, Joanne and Noah decided to take advantage of their stolen moment together and have Rabbi Eden marry them right then and there on the beach.

There's no doubt that the couple will try to keep a lid on their secret nuptials, but secrets have a way of coming out in Joanne and Noah's families. Once one person finds out, the cat will be out of the bag and they will have to deal with the various reactions of offense and guilt, especially from their parents. But there's still be possibility of a big wedding ceremony happening in season 4.

As of the Nobody Wants This season 4 renewal, there are no official details about the upcoming season, including any new cast additions or possible exits. We also don't yet know when the cast and crew will get back to work on set. Since the writing process will likely continue through the remainder of the year, we should expect filming to kick off in early 2027.

Netflix has kept the series on an annual cadence, and that shouldn't change this time around. Last season, filming started in March and wrapped in May for a release in October. We can anticipate that timeline to remain the same with production possibly beginning in March 2027 and heading for another release sometime in October again. But we'll know more once cameras begin rolling.

If you thought Joanne and Noah's story wrapped up with that heartwarming season 3 ending, we have plenty more milestones to watch them accomplish now as a married couple. Nobody Wants This season 4 is on the way to explore a whole new chapter. Stay tuned for even more news and updates on the upcoming season!
