There's nothing worse in the streaming era than adding a show to your watch list, counting down the days until it's supposed to release on Netflix, and realizing it's not there when it should be. It doesn't happen often, but it happens, and Mike & Molly fans are experiencing it now.
The CBS sitcom, which was produced and distributed by Warner Bros., was scheduled to make its debut on Netflix in the United States on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026. However, Mike & Molly still isn't available to watch on the streamer, and the show's official page on the streamer doesn't provide a new date for when all six seasons will finally hit our watch lists.
Mike & Molly's release on Netflix postponed to March 2026
Thankfully, Netflix quietly answered our burning question about the postponement of Mike & Molly's addition. The series will now become available to stream on Netflix on Thursday, March 26, per an article on the streamer's Tudum. It's not too massive of a wait now, but the release was pushed back by a little over a month, leaving us without the show's laughs a little longer.
While Netflix provided the show's new release date, there's no reasoning as to why the show's release was postponed. A number of factors could have come into play, like an update on Netflix's licensing agreement with Warner Bros. or some other red tape. But we do know that Mike & Molly will officially be coming to Netflix in March 2026, a little later than initially anticipated.
Mike & Molly stars Melissa McCarthy, who won an Emmy Award for her performance in the series, and Billy Gardell as the titular couple. The sitcom tracks the lifespan of their love story, from their first meeting at a support group to the awkward first dates to moving in together to getting married to eventually becoming parents. Between their relationship ups and downs, Mike and Molly contend with their rowdy families and friends, as well as their ever-changing careers as a teacher and cop.
In the absence of Mike & Molly on Netflix at the end of February 2026, the streaming service isn't lacking for comedy. A number of great comedy series have been added throughout February, including Search Party, What I Like About You, and Suburgatory. These are perfect binge-watch options that any comedy fan can breeze through while waiting for the CBS hit.
When Mike & Molly arrives on Netflix, the sitcom brings with it six seasons and 127 total episodes. That's a decent sized binge-watch that's more than worth a little extra wait time! There isn't currently a timeframe on the licensing agreement for the show, but if you're a diehard fan who needs their fix, don't waste a second to begin streaming ASAP on March 26!
