If you're looking to begin 2026 with a hearty dose of nostalgic TV, Netflix has you covered in all directions. You can binge-watch all three original seasons of Veronica Mars or rediscover the underrated Noah Wyle sci-fi gem Falling Skies. There's plenty of older shows with multiple seasons to dive into on Netflix, and the streamer's about to add one you haven't thought about in years.

When you think of Amanda Bynes' best roles, you probably think of All That, The Amanda Show, or the countless fan-favorite movies she headlines, most especially What a Girl Wants and She's the Man. But you might not be nearly as familiar with her post-Nickelodeon sitcom What I Like About You, a truly laugh-out-loud comedy series that's coming to Netflix in February 2026.

What I Like About You was previously announced to be coming to Netflix in certain international territories at the end of January 2026, the sitcom has also been confirmed to make its arrival on Netflix in the United States on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026. While the app mentions that "seasons" are coming on that date and doesn't confirm how many, we expect all four to drop on Netflix.

What I Like About You coming to Netflix US in February 2026

While What I Like About was previously available to stream on HBO Max as a show produced and distributed by Warner Bros., the sitcom was removed the platform and has been without a major streaming home. Well, millennials no longer have to catch the random episodes that sometimes pop up on TikTok (true story!). The series will finally make its way to Netflix US on Feb. 11.

The sitcom arrives on Netflix one month shy of the 20th anniversary of its ending. What I Like About You first premiered on The WB back in September 2002 and ran for four seasons, ultimately ending in March 2006. Bynes stars as unpredictable teenager Holly Tyler, who ends up moving in with her older sister Val (Jennie Garth) in New York City. It's a culture shock for them both!

Because of their age gap, the sisters have to find a way to live harmonously as the lines between a parental relationship and a sisterly bond continue to be blurred. Throughout the series, What I Like About You focused more and more on the love lives of Holly and Val, as love triangles took shape and resulted in some of the show's most exciting plot twists.

Beyond Bynes and Garth, who at the time was taking on her first series regular role after the conclusion of Beverly Hills, 90210 in 2000, the show's cast also included Simon Rex as Jeff (only in season 1), Wesley Jonathan as Gary, Leslie Grossman as Lauren, Michael McMillian as Henry, Nick Zano as Vince, and Allison Munn as Tina.

When you start rewatching the show when it's added to Netflix in February 2026, brace for the theme song to not be the iconic song it's named after. Lillix performed that cover that played during the opening titles, and was eventually remixed after season 1, but for the show's DVD releases and HBO Max streaming, the theme song was replaced with a generic tune that won't move you.

As with any show from the early 2000s, some of the jokes don't age well, and there's also the other layer about who co-created the show and executive produced at least two seasons. It's okay to feel a certain way about those things, but What I Like About You is worth watching again to see one of the brightest comedy stars we've ever seen on screen shine brightly and beautifully.

What I Like About You begins streaming on Netflix on Feb. 11.
