The beginning of the year is the perfect time to catch up on all the shows you missed last year and start watching all of the latest new releases. But it's also the exact right time to ease your way into a new year with some nostalgic binge-watches on Netflix. Thankfully, the streaming service has more than a few past hits coming to its ranks in the next month.
While you can kick off your rewatch of Amanda Bynes' millennial classic sitcom What I Like About You on Feb. 11, there's another cult favorite comedy arriving soon after you won't want to miss. ABC has been the home of many successful comedies in the past two decades, including Modern Family, The Middle, The Conners, The Goldbergs, and the forgotten fave that got away Suburgatory.
Since leaving the air after three seasons back in 2014, Suburgatory has been hard to come by on a major streaming service. The series has been available on certain free streamers, but Suburgatory will be released on Friday, Feb. 13 on Netflix in the United States. This is the second chance the show has needed and deserved in order to become a true cult classic.

Suburgatory coming to Netflix US in February 2026
Even though you could check out Suburgatory on Tubi and Roku's Howdy TV, when all three seasons are added to Netflix on Feb. 13, they must immediately be added to your watch list. The series has been unavailable on a major streaming service for quite some time, making its addition to Netflix's ranks a huge deal for its accessibility. We can finally relive the complete series on Netflix!
Suburgatory first made its premiere on ABC back in September 2011 and ran for three seasons, ending far too soon in May 2014. The series was created by Emily Kapnek and gained its inspiration from the book Suburgatory: Twisted Tales from Darkest Suburbia by Linda Keenan. As the punny title suggests, the comedy tackles a more cynical take on suburban neighborhoods.
Jane Levy stars as Tessa Altman, a New York City teenager who moves to Chatswin, a suburban community outside the city, with her single father George (Jeremy Sisto). Tessa's rebellious streak was the inspiration for George's relocation to a more "wholesome" hometown, though when they arrive in the Stepford-esque enclave, it's quite the culture shock for everyone.
Beyond Levy and Sisto as the main characters, a cast of familiar faces fleshes out the quirky residents of Chatswin. Cheryl Hines plays picture-perfect wife and mother Dallas Royce, and Mr. Robot star Carly Chaikin delivers an unforgettable performance as her emotionless daughter Dahlia. The cast also includes Alan Tudyk as Noah Werner, Ana Gasteyer as Sheila Shay, Allie Grant as Lisa Shay, Chris Parnell as Fred Shay, and Rex Lee as Lee Wolfe.
In total, the complete series contains 57 episodes, which is a much longer binge-watch than most comedies on streaming services these days. Even though the series ended far too soon, the season 3 finale was able to tie most of the storylines together and give Suburgatory a proper de facto send-off. You don't have to worry about any major cliffhangers ruining your binge-watch.
Don't miss Suburgatory on Netflix beginning on Feb. 13.
