Netflix is about to get a little spookier; a highly rated horror show is coming to the platform—one that doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should because of where it is from.

The series From will be arriving on Netflix on Oct. 19, 2026. The first three seasons will drop at the same time, so binge-watching will be out of this world, as confirmed via Netflix reported the news on its X page:

From has been running since 2022 and has aired four seasons total so far, with a fifth and final season ordered. Originally on a streaming platform called Epix before it rebranded as MGM+, the series has remained that platform's most popular show, but because it’s less mainstream than platforms like Netflix, it doesn’t get nearly as much love as it deserves from audiences.

The series does boast an impressive 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. That score is honestly a rarity in horror TV. Even one of Netflix's best horror shows, The Haunting of Hill House, has a 93%. So this series truly is one of the best horror/sci-fi shows you can watch.

From is a sci-fi horror that is stuck in a trap

From is one of those shows that mixes so many fantastic elements of horror and sci-fi and does it so well that even now, years later, we are still asking questions that we don’t know the answer to—and might not ever when season 5 comes around.

The series follows the lives of people in a town that seems normal to the outside eye. But the moment you step inside the town's boundaries, you can’t leave. Everyone is trapped within its walls, and if you try to escape through the forest, you drive or walk right back into town.

What makes it worse is that the forest is full of nocturnal creatures that hunt the grounds and feast on the residents. During the day, they try to figure out a way to get out and beat these creatures. At night, well, it’s just about survival. We begin this story when the de facto mayor, Boyd Stevens—played by Harold Perrineau of Lost fame (which left Netflix last year)—must deal with a new family who realize they are next to fall into the snare.

From has great storytelling and always keeps you guessing

Let me tell you that this series is genuinely scary. I watch a lot of horror TV shows and horror movies for a living because I genuinely love the genre. But this series does a fantastic job of blending classic horror with suspense, so you have no idea what the heck will happen next.

What also makes From such a great show is that it keeps you guessing from the moment you start watching. That’s why it's such a goldmine on Netflix: the perfect binge-watching series. You'll always have questions after each season, and as I mentioned before, some won't get answered.

So what’s the solution? You keep watching and hoping we’ll learn more, while also praying your favorite characters don’t bite the bullet (because trust me, in this world, they might; it’s very The Walking Dead here, but with much scarier monsters).

The show also feels like it gets better every season. So far, the only one that was a bit of a drag was season 2, but seasons 3 and 4 made up for it with bold storytelling and moments that truly had my jaw on the floor. And don’t even get me started on the creature design—there are some monsters in this that gave me nightmares, and I thought I was desensitized to everything after watching zombies for the last several years of my life.

Truly, I think this is a great move for Netflix and a great move for the producers and team behind From. This will bring in a whole new slew of fans who never would have checked it out on MGM+, and maybe it will lead to more viewers for the final season on the original streaming platform. Either way, it’s going to be a very spooky Halloween when this series drops.

There’s no word yet on whether season 4 will drop. Season 4 just finished in June 2026, so I’m assuming they’ll wait a little bit. But for now, I’d highly suggest watching the first three seasons. You won’t regret it.

From releases on Netflix on Oct. 19, 2026.
