Christmas might have just come early for Emily in Paris fans wondering how things might end for one couple in Netflix’s beloved comedy!

Warning: potential Emily in Paris season 6 spoilers ahead; proceed with caution if you’re trying to avoid any possible hints about how the show will end.

After six incredible seasons, Emily in Paris is coming to an end with the show’s upcoming sixth season serving as the final season of the series. Heading into the final season, fans are eager to know which couples will get their happy endings and are anxiously waiting to see how the final 10 episodes will bring the central storylines to a close.

Netflix has been playing it close to the chest, releasing very little information about the final season with even the official logline for the season keeping things annoyingly vague. The only thing we know from the season 6 logline is that the final season will find Emily facing defining choices, which will test her loyalties as she must “make one final choice between her career, her heart, and the life she’s built in Paris.”

So yeah, Netflix hasn’t exactly given us much to work with, but our favorite Englishman may have just given fans a major hint at what’s to come in the final season!

Celebrating the wrap on Emily in Paris, Lucien Laviscount took to Instagram to celebrate “the amazing journey the show has taken him on over the last several years after his role was originally meant to be a two-episode guest role. Sandwiched between a pair of photos of Laviscount posing in a director’s chair adorned with the word "Fin" is a group shot seemingly taken on the final day of filming. This photo features dozens of cast and crew members, including Laviscount, and returning stars Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Bruno Gouery, Samuel Arnold, William Abadie, and Minnie Driver.

There are at least 100 people in the aerial photo, yet there are two actors who are suspiciously nowhere to be seen within the photo: Eugenio Franceschini and Paul Forman.

The duo do not appear to be anywhere in the massive wrap photo, which seems to hint that Emily’s breakup with Marco will stick and that Mindy and Nico might not actually be endgame for the show after all. After all, if either of the characters was to end up with their respective love interests, Emily and Mindy, one would assume they would have been present on set during the final day of production, especially considering this scene appears to include a wedding.

Every member of the cast present in the group photo is donning formal wear, there’s a wedding arch, and we can clearly make out a bride in a wedding dress among the crowd. Clustered together in this group shot are Laviscount, Park, Bravo, and Collins, hinting that Emily and Gabriel and Mindy and Alfie might be endgame for the show—which we would honestly love.

It’s clear that Emily and Gabriel have always been destined to find their way back to one another, and it would only be fitting for the pair to get their happy ending in the final season. While Mindy might have accepted Nico’s proposal, it was clear from the season 5 finale that she still was in love with Alfie, a feeling he reciprocated. Given that we don’t see Forman in the cast photo, we have to guess that Mindy will break off her engagement and realize that Alfie is the one she actually wants to spend her life with.

Of course, we’ll have to wait until the final season arrives to know if the answer to who Emily and Mindy end up with was right there all along via the wrap photo, but things are certainly looking promising for those hoping it’s Gabriel and Alfie who the pair will end up with in the end.

Emily in Paris season 6 releases on December 24, 2026.
